I ran my hands through my hair. "What the fuck just happened?"

"I'm trying to figure that out, mate," Mully said from behind me.

I pulled my phone out and tried calling Ophelia but it rang once before being sent to voicemail. "Fuck."

"Whoa! Dude, seriously?" I turned to look at Mully who had a look of disgust on his face.

"What?"

"You're still messing around with Maggie?"

"What? No! Is that what this is about?"

"Tomi just wrote me a whole fucking novel about how Maggie cornered Ophelia in the bathroom and showed her all of these texts messages, some video of the two of you having sex, and that you were still together? What the fuck, Niall?"

"What? I am not seeing Maggie! I'm not talking to her! And I sure as shit am not fucking her!"

"Tomi says that Ophelia said she saw all of it herself. And that she then saw you two kissing in the hallway?" He looked back up at me from his phone. "The hallway inside?"

"What?" I ran my hands through my hair again. "What the fuck is she talking about?"

"So, it's not true?"

"Of course not!" I screamed, throwing my hands into the air. "Mully, come on, you know I wouldn't do that."

"But why would she lie about seeing that?"

"I don't know! I swear, I haven't seen Maggie since we fucking broke up. Tonight - fucking minutes ago - was the first time I have seen or spoken to her." I stopped, remembering now that Maggie had kissed me. Ophelia must've seen it. "Oh no," I said, my eyes widening.

"What?"

"I was looking for Ophelia after we decided to leave and ran into Maggie who told some more lies and then she kissed me. But I fucking pushed her off me and told her to fuck off. I swear!"

"Okay, that's easy to see. What about the texts and videos? Why would Ophelia make that up?"

"There are a ton of fake messaging apps, Mully." I said a bit too sarcastically. "Maggie must've just fucking constructed fake texts and videos, I don't fuc--" I stopped short as I saw Maggie exiting the building. "You fucking cunt!" I yelled at her as I ran up to her.

"Niall, no need to be so rud--" I cut her off by pushing her up against the building.

"What the fuck did you do?"

"What are you talking about?"

"What did you say to her?"

"Niall, mate, let her go," Mully said, pulling me off her. "She isn't worth it."

"She fucking did something and I want to know what it is!"

"I didn't do shit," she spat at me.

"What did you say to Ophelia?" I asked her again.

"Nothing." She paused, "Except the truth."

"The truth? And what version of that did you spin?"

"Just told her that you love me and you always will and that she needed to go on and accept that. None of which is a lie, Niall. You will always love me."

"I don't love you, anymore, Maggie. I haven't for quite some time. I love her! How did you even know about her?"

"I have my ways," she smirked.

"You fucking bitch! I swear to god, if you fucking ruined this for me, I will fucking kill you!"

"I told you she can't handle it, Niall." She crossed her arms and smirked at me as she stepped closer to me.

"Fucking bitch."

Mully was pulling me back down the steps to the car. "She isn't worth it, Niall. You've got a bigger problem to deal with right now."

Mully managed to get me into the car and got us moving down the highway.

"Oh god, oh god, oh god, what if she doesn't believe me?" I said, starting to panic.

"She will. I'm gonna call Tomi when we get home and explain this all to her."

"I'm not going home. Take me to Ophelia's apartment, please, I need to see her; explain this to her."

"I don't think that's a good idea, Niall. Tomi's with her and she won't hesitate to hurt you in some way if you show up. Her friend is hurting and right now, neither one of them is going to be thinking straight."

"I can't let her think I would do something like this! She thinks I fucking used her. She thinks I'm still fucking that bitch."

"Until she calms down, she won't believe any of it, Niall. So, let her cry it out; let her get some sleep and she'll be thinking more clearly in the morning. Okay?"

"Mully, I can't....I can't lose her," Bringing my hands to my face, I let a sob escape my throat. "I love her."

"I know you do."

There was silence for several minutes as we drove down the now darkened LA streets. Luckily, home wasn't too far. As I finally started to calm down, Mully pulled into the driveway.

Sighing, he turned off the ignition. "We'll figure this out, okay? You haven't lost her."

"Haven't I?" I asked, looking numbly out the window.

"No, I don't think you have."

"Why does it feel like I have?" I asked, trying not to cry.

"I texted Tomi to call me when she could, so let's wait to hear from her, okay?"

"Okay."

We got out of the car and went inside, waiting for a phone call that was probably going to kill me.
