"You sure about this? Porter asked. I only nodded, not trusting my voice. Today is my last day at the school and only close friends and co-workers know about it- and well of course Lacey. She was too important to be categorized as a close friend. I hope the students take it well.
"What about Lacey? You're going to let her cheating boyfriend be with her, when you could?"
"She deserves better. And she'll figure it out eventually. She's smart." I comment back. But I know better. She will end up blaming herself and using the baby thing as an excuse for him if she finds out.
*Flashback*
Dude, you better get here right now. I'm at Jacks." I frowned at the desperation in Porter's voice. What was so bad?
"What is it?"
"Just get here now!" He quickly hung up and I ran to the pub.
When I got there, I found Porter, looking pissed. "What's wrong?" I asked.
"Look over there." I followed his gaze and froze when I saw Paul making out with a girl I couldn't see since he was blocking her.
Paul pulls away and smiles at the girl. Which was not Lacey! It was actually the woman that I almost slept with when me and Lacey got together.
I march over to them and yank him away, tackle him to the ground and start to throw punches at him.
"You think you can just cheat? You're an dick, an unfaithful dick!" Jack pulls me off of him, with the help of Porter. A crowd surrounded us, but I didn't care.
"Me? What about you? You broke up because you cheated."
"But I didn't intentionally want to cheat on her. You were the father of her child. How could you just leave her alone in this?"
"It's too much for me to deal with O.K?"
"Imagine what she is going through then." Porter cuts in.
"I'm only eighteen. I can't deal with this shit." Paul walked away, pulling the girl- I think named Chloe or Clara- with him. She glared at me too before flicking her hair over her shoulder.
*End of Flashback.*
"I need to get to work. Hopefully it goes well."

"There is only one more announcements everyone. Sadly, one of our teachers will be leaving. Today will be their last day." Dan announced. Some were hopeful that it were their least favorite teacher. Some were hoping it wasn't their favorite teacher.
"Sadly Mr Dylan will be leaving today as he has been offered a new position in London, I'm afraid. But I have given all the students the last half hour free period. That's all now." I think about every girl gasped. Some guys did, but more cheered due to the fact that they get free period.
After the assembly ended, girls surrounded me, asking me questions some even asked me out. Even if I could, I wouldn't. Only one person remains in my heart.
"Sorry ladies, but it is still against the law, even if I'm not really your teacher anymore." Also, I'm not interested!
I escaped from the circle of disappointed girls and after talking to some guys, I finally found Lacey. Her and Paul were arguing over something. I got closer, trying to listen to them without being conspicuous.
