New chapter for you guys. I only updated two days ago and it took me that long to finish this. Anyway. I should upload my other story 'we all break our promises' tomorrow or something since I'm going to pizza hut tonight:D
Song on the side. It's really cool, also the video is freaking awesome:D
Idiotic
Pathetic
Childish
Those are the words that had been running through my head all night. I couldn't believe what I had tried to do.
I can't believe I acted the way I did! What kind of person am I to bribe Lacey like the way I did?
A monster, that's who.
The words just kept going through my mind. "be with me or loose me" I shouldn't have made her choose. Maybe that's why she wouldn't be with me. Maybe that was why Lauren cheated on me. Sure I gave her everything- well everything but sex.
I'm no virgin who would prefer to wait for the right person but it was too early, and that night when I found out she cheated on me, I was actually going to give her her "need" I'm glad that I found out about her before though.
Going back to the presence, I looked over to Lacey who was looking away, outside of the window and into the dark twilight night.
Her words baffled me. What did she mean I was blind? As soon as the words had slipped from her mouth, she looked regretful and stepped into the car- without saying any further conversation.
I was hoping her three words were different. I honestly thought that she would return the "I love you" but she never did.
"Lacey I'm sorry I made you choose. I never want to hurt you." I blurted out, tightening the grip on the wheel.
"It's fine." Her tone held no emotion- she didn't look at me either.
"No it's not. I hate fighting with you, it doesn't seem right." She finally looked my way.
"it's not your fault," She took a deep breath. "I didn't consider that you were hurting inside. I didn't intend on pissing you off. I want you to be happy because you deserve it. But I won't deny that you was acting like a prick at the end if the night." She was right, I was a prick.
"Will you stay with me tonight still? Or would you prefer if I take you home?"
"I will still stay with you." She added half a smile.
"Thank you." We lapsed onto awkward silence. The only music from her earphones made sure there was no silence present. "Lacey?"
"Mm-hm?" her music must be lower that I thought if she could hear my quiet words.
"What did you mean that I am blind!"
"Why do you want to know?"
"Out of curiosity because you didn't really elaborate on the thought."
"I said you were blind because to you, you see this beautiful warm-hearted girl with no problems. That is just a fantasy- what you want me to be. But you are blinded by your fantasy. The truth is that I'm just a pathetic, fat and ugly girl with many problems. You don't see that- so you are blind." I was about to disagree when she added more. "I was so pissed off when you said I'm just like Lauren because she is perfect. She has the looks of a goddess, she as a body of a model, she just has an ugly personality. I am nothing like her." Did she really think that? Is that what she has decided? Come to a conclusion too?
