So sorry for the delay, Make sure to read the authors note at the bottom. It explains it<3
Song on the side. It's Demi .... again. I know, but she is an inspiration and when I saw this video, I felt like I could cry (which I never do) but anyway, this is kind of how Lacey feels towards Chase (even if this is Chase's POV) Also I love it<3
Sorry for the constant mistakes, I'm not really with it lately.
I watch as she runs away from me, from us, from everything we had. I couldn't help the tears that emerged from my eyes. I didn't even try. I just couldn't believe this was it. I thought our life would be happy. She would slowly get over some of her insecurities and I would be there for her.
But now, all that has changed.
As if I had just been slapped, I fell to the floor as I clutched my chest. I had never had this feeling before. Not even when I lost my parents. Sure it had basically killed me when they left me alone in this world, but this is different. A different pain.
I felt someone's hand make contact with my shoulder. It burned a little compared to my frozen body. I turned to see who had set my body alight and felt angry immediately.
This was also Porter's fault. He was the one begging for her to come back after he obviously hurt her. He told her that I was hurting because of her and she reacted.
''Don't touch me!'' I growled, shoving him away. My heart was beating so fast and so loud that I was certain you could of heard it. Even in the thunderous night.
''Dude, come inside. You'll get sick.''
''Don't tell me what to do!'' I growled again. I was sick of my "best friend" that he had hurt her.
''I know you're angry-''
''You know?!'' I asked incredulously. ''You don't know a thing.'' I screamed.
''Just come inside and get warm before you freeze to death.'' Amanda said in her soft but firm voice. What's the point of going inside? I would rather die in the cold.
''Please.'' Even though she whispered, I still heard her.
I punched Porter when I walked past him. If it wasn't for Amanda steadying him, he would of fallen right into the puddle of water that was starting to form.
Shame he didn't though.
I felt my body heat up once the door was closed and I took my jacket off.
''Does anyone want a drink?'' Amanda asked nervously. I was glaring at Porter while he shook his head and dabbed his bloody nose with a tissue that was already starting to the same color.
''No.'' I said bluntly.
''I know you're mad but you can't just blame Porter.''
''Just because you like him, doesn't mean you can just stick up for him.'' I hissed. Maybe I shouldn't of said that, but I was too pissed to care about anything or anyone at this point.
''It's not the end of the world you know!'' I was actually shocked when Amanda raised her voice.
''Sure you love her, but we can't all get what we want can we? She's your student anyway. Do you really think that she would really date a teacher.'' As soon as she said the words, she covered her mouth.
''I-I-I didn't mean-''
''You're right. She will never like me, never mind love. She would never get involved with me. Why would she? Everyone I ever care about always leaves me. First my parents, then her. It must be a sign. I should never care about anything or anyone.''
