It's pretty short because it's only part one, but hopefully you will enjoy<3
Oh God, he had basically just said he loved me. I could hardly breath.
I was trapped in his room in his sweatpants and smallest shirt he left for me to wear. I heard them talking faintly, but not any words made sense.
''I can already see that she does.'' Porter said, only just clearly. What did he mean? If they were talking about me, then what is it about me?
Once I was changed I heard a faint knock on my door. ''Lacey, can I come in?''
''S-Sure.'' I stammered. This was going to be embarrassing. ''What do you want?'' I tried to ask in a casual tone while I packed my used clothing away.
''I have an idea where to go today.'' I was grateful that he hadn't asked to talk about his feeling for me. He was in the heat of a moment, it just slipped. I'm unlovable, untouchable, unapproachable. All the words that had been said to me from my classmates.
''Really?''
''Yeah, but we have to go out of town to be in public.''
''Fine with me buddy.'' I faked a smile, trying to lighten the mood, but it only increased the tension in the air.
''Come here.'' He was sat on his bed and opened his arms for me to join him. I freely welcomed them. I felt warm and protected with Chase, like I belonged with him, but I couldn't ruin him, I just couldn't end his life for me- a pathetic fat child. ''You look so stressed.''
''Why do you want me Chase? I mean, I'm nothing.'' I asked, ignoring his statement. I was stressed, but that was because he felt as though he had to love me.
''Why would you think that? Also you mean the world to me, without you, there would be no me.''
''That's a false state-'' He cut me off.
''Listen to me okay.'' He took my hands in his and rubbed the part of my skin in between my thumb and index finger with his thumb. ''You're perfect to me.''
''Thank you.'' He pecked my lips softly, and all I could do was widen my eyes. ''Chase-'' I stated, but he put a finger on my lips.
''Best friends kiss.'' He stated. I nodded shakily, not knowing really what to say. ''Get dressed, we have a long day ahead of us.'' He gave me one last lingering kiss before walking out once he gathered some of his things.
I chose into denim shorts, tights and my old green batman shirt. Once I changed, I headed to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, even washing my face from the events of the past 24 hours.
First my Internet best friend- also my teacher- asked me out, I declined, but said I would be his best friend until we leave. Then I attempted to seduce him, clearly I must of scared him off- my fat stomach must of been crushing his fine chest. Then he slipped up and told me he loved me and finally we are going on a date that technically isn't a date since we are not together.
''Ready my angel?'' Angel? Since when has he called me angel?
''Yeah, but why angel?'' I asked.
''Because an angel is beautiful, you are beautiful, so you are my angel.'' I looked at me in the mirror and he must of saw my pained expression. He walked closed her wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into his chest. ''You don't see yourself very clearly do you.'' It wasn't much of a question, but like a statement.
''I'm no angel.'' He sighed and laid his head on my shoulder.
''Don't say that, you're my angel, no more, no less.''
