Before I could knock the door swung open. "You got here quick sir." Brandy said making me smile. I had no idea she was here.

"Just wanna make sure she's alright."

"She is good. My girl is strong."

"I know that she is."

"She has to ask you something."

"No I don't." Bonnie said from behind the door.

"Yes you do." Brandy said firmly.

"I do not."

"I'm not having this argument with you young lady."

"You can't beat me." Bonnie said making me laugh.

"You right. But you still need to ask him something." I heard as Bonnie sighed.

"Why must you argue with me?"

"Because I know I'll win." Brandy said smiling widely. "She hates confrontation." She whispered to me as she patted me on the chest. "Take care of my girl."

"You know it. Get home safe."

"I better, don't need your sister worrying about me."

"No we don't need that." I said as I watched her get into her car and drive off. I then entered the house. She was standing in the middle of the hall now in a over grown shirt. She looked fragile right now. I knew that today took a lot out of her.

"You sure you don't smell like that colon?" She asked me.

"I promise. I scrubbed it all off." She gave a nod.

"Are you hungry. Brandy brung enough food to feed five people."

"Sure." I followed behind sure to keep my distance. I felt I needed to ease myself to her. I sat down as she moved around grabbing a plate and cup. I couldn't just ease to her I needed for her to know I wasn't going to hurt her now. Standing I walked up behind her and I seen as she froze. I placed a hand at each side of her bracing them on the counter.

"I won't hurt you. You know that right?"

"I know that."

"You've been avoiding me because...?"

"I've just been going through some things. That episode you seen is just part of it."

"Who hurt you?" I placed my hand against her stomach pulling her to me so that her back was pressed against my front, and I felt as she let out a breath. "Talk to me."

"I just poured my eyes out to Brandy. I can't do it again right now."

"Can I ask Brandy then?"

"I made her promise not to tell."

"Then I'll wait until you're ready to talk to me personally then."

"Thank you."

"What is this question you needed to ask me?"
