Perrie's POV:
After we got most of it off our chest we ate dinner. I think that the things between us are now said and need a little time to heal like stuff usually does.
We helped Beth settle into her room again and then all went to our separate guest rooms again.
I know for a fact that now after a few months maybe we will be back to normal again. We need the time to trust each other again and get back in sync. But the story between Beth and I will be more complicated.
Sighing I turned to my side and picked up my phone. Subconsciously I opened up my gallery and saw all the many pictures of her and I and others with the girls that I never deleted. All the videos and pictures capturing some of our most beautiful memories, as if I'd have the heart to practically delete them.
Then my finger hovered above apple music and caving I pressed on it. I searched up Little Mix and listened to our songs on low volume.
I put it on shuffle so when Always Be Together played after Little Me my eyes started burning with unshed tears.
It was a promise to the fans, but more so to us. Obviously we knew that someday in the very distant future we'd want to try out solo projects, but we never ever had the faintest clue that it would happen with all of us not talking to each other.
After Always Be Together, The Beginning started playing and a small smile formed on my face. It really was just the beginning. So many things happened after Get Weird was released... it's insane how much can happen in 7 years. I'm gonna be 30 next year, god.
Deciding I went down memory lane enough I turned off the music and was determined to will my head to shut up.
I dozed off with dried tears on my cheeks but still with a small smile curling at my lips.

The next morning was quite peculiar. All of us came out of our room quite disheveled and barely able to look at each other.
"Why does it feel like we are back in our shared house while we were in X Factor?" Beth mumbled crutching her way through the hall.
None of us answered still weired out by the strange atmosphere around us. We followed her to the kitchen though.
"What do y'all wanna eat?" She asked.
"Have you been losing your British accent and adapting an American one?" Jesy asked squinting her eyes.
Beth eyed us all and shrugged, "I mean I have been living here for three years and been only around Americans. It is to be expected that I take over some speaking mannerisms."
"But me losing my British accent? That's rubbish, mate. Sounds like someone who's completely bonkers." She then said on purpose making her accent appear more and using British slang.
I smiled along with the girls when Jade said, "Ya sure it's mental lad? Sounds to me like someone quickly became American."
Beth scoffed and we all laughed teasing her a little longer about it till we stopped.
"Right back to the topic, what do you all wanna eat?" She asked again.
"We are cooking. You will rest your leg." Leigh stated raising her eyebrow.
"Oh guys I'm fine. It barely hurts anymore." She said huffing.
"Sure. Still, we are cooking so what do you want?" Jesy said.
"Right everyone is cooking except for you. I happen to like this house, rather not have it burnt down." Beth said to Jesy who's mouth dropped in offense.
"Okay just because Perrie had the bonus of your cooking lessons and Jade and Leigh can cook from themselves doesn't mean I'm that bad at it." She said crossing her arms.
Beth shrugged, "Jeez. As if you don't say it yourself." She chuckled.
Jesy pouted and went to the couch now definitely not cooking and Beth joined her smiling teasingly.
I looked at Jade and Leigh and we also smiled at each other lightly.
Time and patience. That's all it takes.

Beth's POV:
After Jesy and I sat down I teased her about her cooking skills, or well, non-existent cooking skills.
Then I started off with something I know we should talk about. If I don't talk to them about their solo careers I'll not be able to let it rest.
"So... you got number one in many countries with your debut." I started a little awkwardly.
Jesy looked confused at the change of topic but nonetheless answered, "Yeah I did." After clearing her throat.
A beat of silence passed and then she asked, "Did you listen to it?"
She looked like she was hoping I had. Like she was hoping I liked it.
"I did." I confirmed resting my leg on the sofa.
She bit her lip and asked, "Did you like it?"
I was a bit confused by the question. Why did it matter what I thought?
"Sure I did. Why is my opinion so important to you?" I asked.
She scoffed but with a laugh, "Is that a serious question?" She asked.
I nodded and her jaw dropped for a second, "Beth you have always been a musical genius in my eyes. Had it not been for our label then you surely would have released some of the best songs ever heard." She answered sincerely.
"You're exaggerating." I said looking down heat rushing to my cheeks.
"No she's not." Leigh called from the kitchen.
Oh... so they've been listening.
"Whatever." I responded not wanting to be in the middle of attention.
"Aw are you flustered?" Jesy teased me.
I scoffed and asked, "What's for breakfast?" Just to change the topic.
"I mean we aren't really well versed in your kitchen, plus this is all American food. Where are the good old crumpets hun?" Jade asked.
"Sorry that my kitchen doesn't have your high standards lady Jade, but it just so happens that you can't buy everything here that you can buy in England." I informed.
They continued to tease me more and more about my decision to move here and get more aquaintated with America.
All in all, it felt like the good old times.
