Chapter 4

Beth's POV:

I woke up at night by Jade saying my name.

"Beth you are shaking and sweating! Are you feeling hot?" She asked quite worried.

I was indeed shaking violently. But I was freezing.

"I'm fre-free-freezing." I stuttered.

"Okay-um... let me check your temperature." Jade said and put the blanket over me.

It didn't help.

She came back frantically and checked it.

"Jesus. 41.5° Celsius. I'm pretty sure that's too high." She said pacing.

"I need to bring you to the hospital." She said determined.

"D-don't be si-sil-silly. You ca-can't even dr-drive." I stuttered.

"There is something called a driver that exists." Jade said trying to make me stand up.

"It'll go away on i-it's own." I said.

"Yeah a normal fever but this is too high. Dangerously high." She said.

She's right. That is indeed dangerous.

So I stood up, but the cold hit me and I fell back burying myself in the blanket.

"Jade no. I'm cold." I said feeling like a child.

"I know babes. But we need to go." She said apologetically.

"Wait. I'm just gonna call Leigh." She said.

"N-no. Sh-she's probably sl-sleeping." I said.

"Just stay quiet." Jade said.

"Leigh? I need you to come pick me and Beth up?" Jade said.

I heard Leigh's voice only a little bit but she didn't even complain. Only asked with worry why.

"She has a fever. And it's 41.5° Celsius high." Jade said.

Leigh said something and Jade hung up saying bye.

"She's on her way. Perrie actually slept over at hers as well... so she's awake and coming as well." Jade said.

"A-are you ki-kidding me?" I said.

"No. I didn't know sorry." Jade said.

Then as an afterthought, "But like calm down bitch. Of course she'd come sooner or later. She still cares about you."

I didn't have the strength to be a pain in the ass so I just stayed quiet.

While we were waiting Jade tried to help me by bringing more blankets and keeping me warm. She also wet a towel and put it on my forehead.

"I really... don't know what to do so bear with it." She said.

10 minutes later the doorbell rang. Jade went and opened it up.

I already heard Perrie's and Leigh's voice coming through but I couldn't make out the words.

My head felt so fucking heavy.

Someone entered but I couldn't see, I could barely keep my eyes open. But then the familiar scent hit me, and I knew Perrie entered.

With her were Leigh and Jade as well but I could only recognise her scent.

God I'm a fucking creep.

"Oh babes." Leigh said sadly.

"We need to get you up love." Perrie said.
