Beth's POV:

Since seeing the girls' mams, I've been a lot lighter. Especially since being around Perrie's family again, I've been more than ready to get with her again, but I've still got to be patient. She is not ready, and it's my turn to wait for her, just like she waited for me.

Today, Noah really wanted me to come over. I haven't seen him since he returned from his honeymoon, so I assume he wants to tell me how it was.

Once I knocked at the door, I was surprised to see Josie opening it. Usually, she would be at work right now.

"Hey Beth!" She greeted warmly, hugging me.

I smiled and hugged back, "Hey."

We released each other from the hug, and she let me enter their newly bought house.

It was my wedding present to them. During the process of wedding planning, they also looked for a family home that would be spacious enough for their future kids as well.

Since I was a big part of their wedding planning, I knew which house they definitely wanted. Though, they rather quickly gave the thought up since the price was way out of their budget.

They could've paid it off slowly, but they didn't want to spend their lives paying off the house, so they chose not to get it.

And although I thought the price was ridiculous as well, I luckily had no problem paying it for them. I can't lie. It is a pretty beautiful home, and I'm very content knowing my future nieces and nephews get to grow up in a nicer home than Noah and I did.

When they found out that I got it for them, Noah almost wanted to kill me for spending this much money on him. It took a lot of convincing on my part for him, or Josie, for that matter, to accept it.

Josie even cried and thanked me so many times that I was a little overwhelmed.

"So, how was the honeymoon?" I asked Josie as she led me to the living room.

She smiled, "It was awesome. The Maldives are a very beautiful island. You should go there, I think you'd love it. I've never seen water that's so clear!" She said, full of wonder.

I smiled. Although Josie was like 31 or something, she still gets excited about stuff like a kid. It's very endearing and makes her much more approachable.

"Did Noah almost drown during your diving activity?" I asked, smirking. Noah was always a terrible swimmer.

She laughed lightly, "He definitely had more trouble than the usual person."

We sat down on the couch, and I asked, "So where is Noah? He asked me to come over, and he isn't even here?"

Josie sipped her tea, "Oh he went out to get your favourite snacks. He wanted to have a movie marathon with you."

I smiled, "Well isn't he acting all brotherly."

She smiled too, "Yeah, he mentioned something about needing to feel like a good older brother."

I chuckled, "Don't tell him I said this, but I couldn't ask for a better older brother."

She smirked, "Trust me, he won't hear anything from me. He doesn't need any more ego boosts."

Finally, I heard the door opening, and Noah stepped through the door with two bags of what I assumed was a shitload of snacks.

"Great! You're here." He said, setting them down and hugging me.

"Did you go shopping for two families or something?" I asked once he released me.

"Well, I needed to get my favourite snacks, yours and Josie's." He said, shrugging off his jacket.

Josie looked a little surprised and set her tea down, "Why mine?"

I frowned, "Well you are watching the movies with us, right?"

Noah also frowned, "Yeah, I thought so too. Do you have something else planned?"

Josie spoke up, hesitant, "I just thought it was a sibling bonding moment. I don't want to intrude."

Noah looked at me, and through his questioning glance, I understood that he asked if I was okay with it.

"Josie, you are now my sister in law. And even if you and Noah hadn't gotten married, I wouldn't have minded. You are my sister now. There is no such thing as intrusion anymore." I said honestly.

She smiled and hugged me, "I was waiting for this moment, to be honest. I knew it would take a moment for you to be completely comfortable with me, but this made me really happy." She said.

I chuckled, "Do you even know that I'm the one that told Noah to go and finally propose to you? I've been fond of you since the first day we met."

Noah crossed his arms and smiled. Then, finally, he joined the hug and sighed contentedly. I'll always have a family with them. Always.

"So let's finally get into the first movie!" Noah said excitedly, closing the curtains.

After three movies, we decided to take a break and go on a walk. Then Noah started bringing the girls up.

"Now, has there been any progress?" He asked.

"There's been loads of progress. After singing at your wedding, we all sort of felt like we fell into place. Then, the girls set up a dinner with their mams as a surprise for me. Especially after that I'm even happier to be with them again." I said.

Josie then asked, "How about between you and Perrie?"

I sighed, "I don't know. She doesn't forgive herself for what she did. I'm over it and forgave her. I'm more than ready to be with her. She isn't. In the past she had to wait till I was mentally ready, in the present I had to wait for her. The cycle of life, huh?"

I looked at Noah, and he had a suspicious grin on his face.

I frowned, "What are you grinning about?"

He looked like a deer caught in headlights and started stuttering, "N-nothing. Nothing at all." And started walking quicker.

I looked at Josie, who just shrugged.

What do you know, Noah?
