Perrie's POV:

The next morning Beth and I had a small breakfast together. Her documents from the hospital were sent over to our hospital here in London.

She is set to remove her leg cast today and then she should be able to walk normally and will be fully recovered. Her weight checks will also be done by the hospital here.

Noah invited all of us, also our siblings, to his home tonight. They all haven't talked to each other in years as well, so he has to have some kind of announcement.

I was getting ready so I could drive Beth to her appointment.

We stepped inside the car and she put her crutches in the backseat.

"I can't wait to get this cast off." She said pulling her hair into a ponytail.

"I can imagine. It must be quite itchy." I said backing out of the driveway.

When we arrived she randomly said, "Leigh-Anne lied."

I looked to her and furrowed my eyebrows, "About what?" I asked.

She smiled, "She definitely is the worst driver."

I smiled myself and then gasped, "Did she say it was me?" I asked in shock.

She shook her head, "Not necessarily you, but she claimed that all of you aren't better than her at it."

I scoffed, "Cheeky."

She smiled and we exited the car. After the nurse lead us to the room the doctor entered almost immediately afterwards.

"Good afternoon, Ms. Fields, Ms. Edwards." He said writing something down on his clipboard.

"Afternoon Doctor." Beth replied.

"So a cast removal and weight check?" He asked setting up the cutting machine.

"Yep." Beth answered once again.

He turned the machine on and I winced. It was quite loud.

Beth looked away and I could tell she was a little nervous. I'd be too, imagining the things that could go wrong, which are many.

She looked to me and I gave her a reassuring smile. Then I mouthed a , 'Focus on me.', since I didn't want to shout over the whirring of the machine.

She did just that, and before we both knew it was gone.

Beth scrunched up her nose and the doctor noticed as well, "Yeah, that smell never gets better." He said scrunching it up as well.

I wondered once again like in so many situations how it would be if I could smell.

Her leg was orange from the stuff that was put on it, and then the doctor cleaned it off and told Beth to stand on both feet.

She did as told and at first she swayed from left to right slightly but then regained her balance.

"Good?" He asked.

She nodded and then he instructed her to walk.

She did just that. She was a little slower, probably getting used to walking again, but it still went flawlessly.

He nodded satisfied and said, "Well, that concludes my part in your appointment today. A nurse will be here shortly to measure your height and check your weight. You may wait in here." He smiled and left.

We sat in silence for a minute and then I asked, "How's it feel to have your leg back?"

"Extremely grateful that I had the possibility to even get it back. I really do take a lot of my body for granted." She said looking down.
