Perrie's POV:

It was about 11 am when I woke up and I almost forgot where I was. After stretching myself and accidentally cracking a few bones, I stood up and yawned.

The bed was quite comfortable and so were the sheets. That's a good bed.

My brain was still all jumbled up when I took out the few clothes I bought in a hurry and took them with me to the bathroom.

I really should have packed clothes. The girls did have their suitcases and stuff, but they couldn't exactly have them in the hospital room so they are still in the hotel rooms they individually booked. I'm the only dumb nut who didn't take any clothes with her.

When I finished showering and brushing my blow-dried hair I made sure to not leave the room messy. Although Beth won't be here for a couple more days I still don't want to make a mess.

Once I was satisfied I exited the room and took the opportunity to explore Beth's house. The girls are either still sleeping or getting ready, anyhow they arent anywhere around here.

First stop was the living room. It was large and had nice decorations. In comparison to the earlier times, Beth actually had many pictures on the wall. None of the girls or me, which makes sense, but many with Sam and her family. Especially her siblings and one of her cousins which I think was Beca.

Most of the pictures I knew, but then there was one I haven't seen yet and it stuck out somehow.

In it were the aunts and uncles of Beth, more like her mother's siblings, and one woman in particular stuck out.

At first I thought Beth resembled her mother a lot, but the woman here is like the copy of Beth when Beth was 18. They all seemed to be younger in this picture either way considering her mother looked barely 7 years old.

I think that this is her aunt Meghan because other than her mother there was another younger girl which should be her aunt Sara. And then there's one boy which had to be her uncle Peter.

I have seen pictures of them before, but her aunt Meghan never looked that much like her.

After the shock I moved on from the living room and checked out the kitchen which was a little less interesting.

The rest of the ground floor was pretty much just bathrooms and guest rooms. So I moved to the top floor and there had been a balcony and something else that's way more interesting.

Beth's room.

I sighed. I'm not gonna invade her room like that, but I'm dying to know what it looks like now.

On the balcony there were multiple seating opportunities and a nice table.

After I was done I went downstairs again and noticed a door leading to a basement.

Now normally I don't care about basements or cellars at all, but down there it didn't seem creepy or old like most cellars do. There was good lighting, a nice temperature, and I think there's a couch.

So I made my way down and was right indeed. There was a minifridge which only had water in them and a boxing sack which surprised me a little.

The boxing gloves were neatly put on their rack. In front of the couch there was a TV attached to the wall.

And when I looked around even more, I noticed a piano in the far corner.

Huh. Beth always talked about how she wanted to learn an instrument, well, specifically piano. I wonder if she knows how to play now.

Once I took in the boxing sack again I sighed heavily. She didn't eat, barely drank by the looks of the fridge, yet she probably worked out a lot down here.

I just don't know why she specifically chose boxing. She never seemed much like a physical fighter. I mean, I knew she most of the time would be able to get herself out of situations, but she never seemed violent.

Well, just because she boxes doesn't mean she's violent. I know she often suppressed her anger instead of releasing it and dealing with it. Maybe this helps her and that's why she's doing it.

When I looked to the floor next to the TV I noticed a broken glass and spilled alcohol.

I swallowed, I'm guessing she was down here drinking and watching TV before she fell down.

The atmosphere here suddenly turned chilly when I started realising all of the things that probably happened in here. Her anger or sadness that she probably release down here, her drinking and all of the other bad habits she has.

I sighed heavily, this never should've happened. Her and I should've never been apart. Not from each other and not from the girls.

All of us are unhappy and our stupid pride got us to this point. Well... less unhappy now because we have each other again. Though we are still reluctant on trusting each other.

I decided that I should probably get up there again before the girls stand up.

We should go see Beth in an hour or so anyways.

Beth's POV:

I woke up at around 10 am. The nurse came in with food and while I expected her to leave she had other plans or orders.

"You can't eat by yourself. And even if you can, we know you probably won't, you'll be supervised while you are here and afterwards there will be mandatory weekly visits here so we can check your weight and you'll have to keep a schedule." She explained after feeding me.

God I hate being fed. I feel like a child.

The nurse didn't care and urged me to open my mouth.

She was about to feed me vegetables and when I saw the tomato I spoke up quickly, "I'm allergic to tomatoes."

I've had a fear of ever getting an allergic reaction again. The first time was bad.

"Okay then." She said and picked out all the tomatoes and removed them from the room.

I was about to stop her, having them in the same room doesn't matter as long as I don't eat them, but she was already out the room.

She finished feeding me and then left me.

I sighed and looked up at the ceiling. The girls will probably return today. Part of me is glad because I still miss them, but another part doesn't want them here because it's hard to keep up my silence or irritation.

Either way, they will be here.
