Beth's POV:

After the initial shock of seeing the girls' mams again, I couldn't really believe how much I had missed them.

Needless to say, I was aware of how I had missed the girls, but I never quite noticed just how much I missed their families as well. I just now noticed with my heart fixing itself back together again, piece by piece.

Janice's warm inviting aura, Norma's caring and homey aura, Debbie's teasing and friendly aura, and lastly, Debs, who was the first to meet me and the first to make me an immediate part of her family.

Though no women ever will replace my mother, these four are darn good at making me feel like their daughter.

Since I had not much to tell about these years, they all took their turns updating me about their life, and I was quite invested, to be honest.

"I still can not believe John microwaved a plate with a spoon and burned our entire microwave!" Debbie ranted about her husband, who was actually a very sweet man.

The girls were a bit more reserved, but I think that's because they want their mothers and I to catch up.

And then slowly, the day turned into night, and we all started saying our goodbyes, the four mams hugging me extra tight.

Since we were all picked up by Jade, she was also the one to drop each of us off, except for Leigh.

Once Perrie and I entered our home, I took off my scarf and smiled, "Thanks for today. I didn't really notice how much I had missed them."

Perrie looked at me, surprised for a second, but then smiling big and brightly, "Anytime. They missed you just as much, if not more."

And for some reason, I was suddenly again very aware of how beautiful Perrie was. It's not necessarily that I forgot, but with me seeing her every day, it's easy to get used to her beauty, but God, she was stunning.

She noticed me stopping mid hanging up my jacket and then gave me a concerned look.

"Are you alright, bab-" She stopped herself from saying babe, but her concern didn't waver.

She just didn't notice I was mesmerised by her, instead of troubled.

Then she touched my cheek and forehead and frowned, "Do you have a fever? Your cheeks are quite hot and red." She claimed.

For a second, I couldn't believe how innocent she is sometimes. The fact that she couldn't tell I was blushing because she still thinks I'm repulsed by her for what happened is as endearing as it is sad.

Finally, I composed myself, "Ah, uhm no no, I don't have a fever I'm fine." I cleared my throat.

"Are you sure? I'll brew you up a cuppa if you'd like?" She asked.

I shook my head slightly, smiling, "No need."

For some reason, I wanted her to know I was simply admiring her, maybe because then she would feel more confident again. I don't know why, but I feel like she has lost confidence in herself ever since then.

She smiled back and made her way to her bedroom.

I think I want her back. I think I want to stop wasting time.

But I also think that she has to make the first move as she still has to forgive herself.

Perrie's POV:

I am so glad that Beth actually had fun and did, in fact, miss our mums just as much as they missed her.
