Tara Knowles.
She was my best friend in high school. Growing up, she always wanted to become a doctor and I supported her decision to move to Chicago to follow her dream even though it left Jax heartbroken. We didn't talk much when she left as I was busy working at TM and helping the club whenever I could and Tara was busy with education.
Parking in front of Tara's house which was formerly her fathers, I walked to front door knowing that she was probably on her way out but that didn't stop me from wanting to talk to her.
Before I had a chance to knock on the door, Tara swung open the front door leaving a shock look on her face as she saw me. Without letting a word slip my mouth, Tara lunged herself at me leaving me to hug her back.
"I take it that you've missed me" I chuckled
"Did Jax tell you that I was back?" Tara asked
"Yes he did. I know you probably wanted to tell me but you know what Jax is like." I slightly smiled
"I would like to stay and talk but I have got to head over to TM." Tara commented
"I can drive you to TM. I am heading back there as I just came from visiting Nugget at Saint Thomas" I offered.
Tara went to reply but she was stopped in her tracks as she noticed red petals on her car before rushing inside her house.
"Tara?" I called out as I noticed the petals on her car too.
Entering her house, I noticed that Tara had placed a small gun inside her bag before looking up at me shocked when she saw that I noticed the gun.
"I was right, you are in danger" I spoke as a tear fell down Tara's face.
"Who?" I snarled.
"There was this guy in Chicago. He got weird. Stalker weird. I had to get a restraining order." Tara explained as she removed the tear from her face.
"And he is here in Charming?" I asked
"Yes he is but I don't want you to do anything that could get you in trouble or in danger" Tara panicked.
"I won't do anything for now but if he tries anything I won't hesitate" I replied as Tara nodded.
I drove Tara back to TM in her cutlass as she made me promise not to tell anyone which I told her that I wouldn't as long as she let me tell someone if things got bad which she agreed to.
Parking the cutlass in the lot, Tara and I got out of the car as Jax made his way over to us. I hugged Jax before making my way over to Tig who was sat by the benches outside the clubhouse.
"Everything okay?" Jax asked
"The cutlass is in bad shape" Tara stated
"I am sure that Letty won't mind fixing that for you. She is the best mechanic we have got." Jax smiled
"I see that they are still close" Tara spoke as she looked at Tig and I sat at the benches laughing while Tig's arm was slung over my shoulder.
"Yeah they are. You wouldn't believe that they have got closer since you have left. They have got matching TM overalls." Jax chuckled.
"Has anyone managed to convince Letty to be their old lady?" Tara questioned.
"No she still feels strongly about that, probably more so than ever." Jax answered.
As the conversation has come to an end, Jax walked over to where Tig and I were sat before he dropped Tara off at her house.
"Just to let you know that we will be gone a couple of days for a patch over to hide our AKs as the ATF is sniffing around." Jax commented.
"Am I being sniffed too?" I asked
"No but I still want you to be careful as you only just got rid of your PO yesterday." Tig spoke leaving me to nod in return.
Jax hugged me goodbye before he left dropped Tara off.
