Part 37

After the kick off with Tara, I thought it would be best if I buried my head in the paperwork that is heavily stacked up in the office so I could potentially avoid the tense atmosphere that still lingered the day after which I didn't end up getting when Jax walked into the office.

"Look I know what you are going to say and I'm sorry for going off on Tara like that but I just couldn't help it with the way she was acting and what she was saying which I know isn't an excuse and I'm also sorry for putting you in a shitty position" I said whilst I watched Jax placed himself on the couch.

"I understand why you did it so you don't ever have to explain yourself to me and as for Tara, I've dealt with it so you won't need to worry about anything like that being said again" Jax slightly smiled

"It's not just Tara's fault, it's mine too. I just made things worse"

"It's not your fault. You've just got Happy's baby's hormones ruin through your veins." Jax smirked

"You can say that again" I smirked back

"You should have told me what happened when you were inside instead of coming out like it did yesterday." Jax stated

"I know I should have. I just scared too, you know? When I was first out, I just felt like because of the things I did inside that I had become a different person. One you wouldn't be proud of, and I love having you guys being proud of me" I shrugged

"Letty. This club will always love and protect you regardless of what shit you have pulled. You had to do what you had to do inside and the club understands that. We are still proud of you."

"No one is pissed at me for it?"

"Nope"

Without a chance for the conversation to go further, Jax got up from his seat on the couch and placed a kiss on the top of my head before Tig entered the office, demanding to take me and the rest of the club to the dinner which neither Jax and I declined.
