The Mechanic

Part 56

Waking up in Tig's spare room with Rosie fast asleep in her make-shift bed, I had decided to leave her as she was asleep and me not wanting to disturb her. Heading into the kitchen, I had cooked both Tig and I some breakfast before giving Rosie some food as well which by the time I had done Tig had finished getting ready before taking care of Rosie while I did the same. Briefly checked my phone, I noticed that I had received a text from Wendy claiming that something happened at school again with Abel causing him to sent home early which left to me head over to Gemma's house with Rosie while Tig headed over to meet the rest of the club.

In quick speed, I had arrived Gemma's house before walking straight inside without knocking which I noticed Jax, Gemma, Wendy and Nero sat around the table in the dinning room which they all gave me a shocked look, expect from Jax, when they noticed me holding a baby carrier with Rosie inside of it.

"I heard something happened with Nugget, is everything okay? I came as soon as I heard." I asked, placing myself next to where they had sat

"The school had asked me to come in for a meeting regarding Abel which they rang social services who was already there which I didn't know until both Gemma and I had arrived at the school. Abel had cuts on his arm which he had told the teacher that Gemma had did it which she claimed that she didn't do anything to harm him which confuses things further so Gemma can't be around the kids alone due to the circumstances" Jax explained, leaving my eyes to widen

"Holy shit -- How's Nugget holding up? Did he need stitches?" I spoke without realises how much panic could be heard in my voice

"The cuts was bad enough to need stitches but he doesn't seem to be holding up too well" Wendy explaining leaving me to sigh

"I'm gonna go check up on him" I stated

Leaving everyone as they were, I headed into Abel's room to find him sat on the bed with his head down looking at his bed which was soon to shoot up when he saw me and Rosie enter the room.

"Hey Nugget -- I've got someone here who would like to see you" I smiled

Placing the baby carrier on the bed, Abel's eyes lit up when he saw Rose wide awake, looking over at him with a curious face. Without letting another moment passing, Abel began to stroke Rosie's face with his finger before he started to talk to her, just like he did to my stomach when I was pregnant with her. Unable to stop smiling, I placed myself on the bed before continuing to watch Abel bonding with Rosie which lasted about half an house before Jax came in to let me know that Wendy and the boys are going to come with him to his house and stay there instead of at Gemma's which I offered to help them.
