This is where spoilers for Spiderman: No Way Home will be coming in to play soooo if you haven't seen it yet I'm just letting you know :)

I could run from it all but I'd only get lost
Oh, I've walked on the bridge that I shouldn't have crossed
And I find myself, a user
Oh, I wake every day with addictions to feed
They all call me a friend but I'll never be freed
From the face of a faithless future

The sudden change in temperature cause my entire body to jolt forward. There were mounds of snow pooling from the doorway into the bedroom. "What the hell?" Shaking Stephen awake, I grabbed the closest thing next to me to cover up my camisole and shorts. We went to bed last night with it being humid in the bedroom and now, I'm afraid I'll get hypothermia. "Stephen, what is going on?"

"Dammit, Wong probably never casted a maintenance spell. Did this happen last winter?" I shook my head and Stephen opened a portal to find Wong wear a puffer jacket while moving suitcases of things from the library to what looked like the library at Kamar-Taj. "Wong!"

"Oh good, you're both awake. Time to get moving."

"What happened?" I asked, grabbing a blanket from the bed and wrapping myself up. Stephen noticed and smiled down at me almost cutely.

"I was called on some Sorcerer Supreme business last night and wasn't able to cast the maintenance spell. So the snow pooled in from the Siberia gateway." A shiver shook my entire body as the breeze continued to move through the sanctum as more snow continued to pour into our room. I slammed the door after portalling the snow into a random location and closed it as fast as I could.

"Is there a spell to get rid of all this snow? I mean there has to be."

"We're sorcerer's Jodie, not witches." Wong retorted and I only rolled my eyes. Quickly I grabbed all the warm clothes Stephen and I had in the bedroom, laying them out on the bed for us to choose from in order to keep ourselves warm until we could get the snow out. "There's some trainees downstairs shoveling. I would appreciate some help moving the artifacts to Kamar-Taj when you both get moving. Make it quick please."

Not exactly how Stephen and I imagined this day beginning. There were plans for us to go out today and celebrate almost a year as a couple. A year since we both confessed intense or beginning feelings for one another. Our hearts and souls became one that day and it is to be celebrated the right way. Shoveling snow and quickly moving things out of the sanctum isn't entirely ideal but we'll get to do it together which is all I'm thankful for. I threw on a sweatshirt with a long coat over it, ending at my legs that I layered with leggings and sweats. A beanie laid on my wavy hair from the braids I wrapped it in last night from the humidity that has since checked out. I looked at Stephen who was all dressed in the same bundle as myself but laughed when the Cloak had to lay itself on him. "I'll go put some coffee in the pot and we'll get going?"

"Can't wait." Stephen's sarcasm always lightened any mood over the sanctum or over my own. There was a light when that smile of sarcasm came out and I could never explain why it always brought out my own smile. I trudged my way down the hall in my snow boots, struggling to move through the piles while Stephen just floated on down the hall. I felt him turn to watch me and I ended up take snow and throwing it in his direction before finally entering the kitchen. Stephen's favorite mug was already in full view, oh for fox sake. With a cute little fox sitting on the mug, just as sarcastic as his personality.

I grabbed a tumbler mug so I could keep my coffee warm as long as I could rather than drink it incredibly fast. I quickly opened a portal the opening of the Sanctum, assuming Stephen would have been there with Wong moving things but instead I found Peter standing there while Wong just opened his own portal. "Peter."
