Stephen's warm embrace was all I needed on this evening. Finally a full week of good sleep and relaxation. Surprisingly, helping America, Stephen, and myself adjust to a family dynamic was easier than I had thought. There was still some work we needed to do to her new room, to make her feel comfortable. It was strange having someone else live in this dreary building who has so much light and energy to them. Nice to finally share that kind of fun energy with somebody else.

A bloody murder scream erupted from America's bedroom down the hall from us. Stephen and I both jumped up quickly, rolling out of bed. Cloak found itself on to Stephen's shoulders as I ran out of the room and down the hall. Kicking the door open I saw America jump and scream again at our unexpected presence. "Are you okay?" Stephen searched the room as I jumped on to the bed with America who grabbed me against her before I could even sit my butt down. Her head in the nape of my neck while her hands ferociously gripped my torso.

"It's okay." Her sobs were breaking my heart and I wanted to know why but I needed her calm first. "America. America, don't you cry, lift me up, give me strength to press on. Rise to the top of the world, America. America, don't you try. Lift me up, give me strength to press on." I sang to her quietly with small whispers in between Hoping to get her to calm down quicker so we could get to the bottom of it.

Her tears were falling against my tee-shirt and I could feel her grasp on me loosen a little as her breathing started to regulate the tiniest bit. I felt the bed shift and I noticed Stephen sitting down on the other side of America to let her know we were both here. Must be there was nothing in here which told me that there was nothing physically here that could hurt her. It couldn't have been a bad dream or nightmare because she can't have those. So what could it be? "America, can you tell us what happened?" She pulled her head from the nape of my neck to look up at Stephen and myself. Her eyes were full of fear and they looked like they had almost been ready to open a portal. Thank god we got in here when we did.

"There, there were whispers." America stuttered, trying to find the right words to describe whatever the hell just happened. "They sounded like Wanda but I knew it couldn't be because she's...she's dead. I tried ignoring them and rolling over but then I saw her. She was in my head and I felt her. She reached out to grab me and that's when I screamed." Her body began to shiver terrifyingly at the retelling of what happened. Wanda's magic must have side effects. Especially such chaotic and dark magic. "What if she survived and she's still got a hold on me?"

"No, no, America, she's gone." Stephen reassured. He had watched her fall under the avalanche of Mount Wundergore's rubble. There was a large explosion of red light that emerged from where we had viewed and that gave me all the more confirmation that she had perished. "There's no need to be afraid anymore, I promise." Stephen looked deep into her eyes and I could tell he meant that promise.

"I don't want to sleep. I won't be able to handle my regular darkness with her voice creeping in its shadows."

"Well, what do you want to do in the mean time?" My eyes shifted down to see hers who were gleaming up at me.

"Can we watch a movie?" Stephen looked to me for approval and all I answered with was a shrug. "I saw a movie on your desk and I think we should watch that."

"You want to watch Mamma Mia?"

"What's Mamma Mia?" Stephen asked and I suddenly flashed back to what other Tony said after the evening in Greece when other Stephen proposed to other me. There's gotta be a simpler way to put that.
