Long lyrics this time because this song is basically the premise of this chapter. STILL SPOILERS and major ones in this. This story is something I'm truly proud of and I haven't had that kind of edge in a long long time so I just want to say thank you to everyone for reading and voting. Continue to do so, I love you all! I also do apologize for the breaks in between as of late, just been sick and under the weather with wicked headaches that just don't seem to want to end. "Jodie." His voice was right against my ear and yet it still felt miles away. Like he was across another universe from me. A faint, sweet, gentle tone calling for my attention. Yet for some reason it wasn't enough to grasp it. "Jodie, a portal is opening." And there it is. I quickly picked myself up to my feet and grabbed on to Stephen. It didn't feel as long as it actually was being stuck in the mirror dimension with someone I considered home. It was honestly relaxing compared to other visits in this reflected palace.

Sparks continued to doddle for a few moments before opening officially. Stephen and I stumbled through to be met with MJ and Ned. The calm and collected Stephen I just spent eleven hours with disappeared so quick I didn't have time to adjust. "Where is he?" He scowled, quickly gravitating the box and sling ring into his possession.

"Dr. Strange, wait! His plan, it's working?"

"What plan?"

"He's curing them." I whispered as my body leaned over the railing. The large reptilian now a small battered man. You could see the broken in his eyes but could sense the relief that this was all finally over. No more fighting. Internally or externally.

"I'll be damned." Stephen's eyes matched mine with the same glimmer of pride and hope in Peter. I knew he could do it, it was just a matter of how and how long. The kid was smart and the kid was persistent, just like his mentor. Stephen and I slowly turned our attention to Ned as realization of how we got here kicked in. "Did you just open a portal?" Our simultaneous curiosity was replied with a nod of nerves and a hint of proud. "Hmm." Was all Stephen could muster up before I gave Ned a fist bump to show our appreciation for his new talent. "Jodie, take these two under your protection. I'm going to find the kid and end this."

"Roger that, Doctor." He gave me a grotesque look and I just shrugged. "Trying something new. I said it in a dream. That Strange liked it."

"This one doesn't." He flew away, getting the last word as usual.

"Alright guys, just stay by me and everything should be fine." Deciding it would be best to move out of the danger zone I ran with Ned and MJ trailing behind me, hoping to find an easier and quicker way down off of these building posts. Although, now I could say I finally saw the Statue of Liberty up close and personal rather than just during walks. I noticed someone swing in front of us and realized the detailing on the suit was different. The spider was elongated and web like ridges lined the suit with a blue coming out in areas. "When did Parker get a new suit? And get taller?"

"That's not our Peter. That's a different Peter."

"Huh. I would've enjoyed seeing that interaction." The more I learn about each individual that's brought to us via this multiverse catastrophe, the more I want to explore it. I mean, there's worlds out there and versions of myself out there that I want to know about. No, I need to know about. Am I always a good guy? Am I at least a successful villain? Do I get my hands on the dark hold? Are Stephen and I together? Is it Stephen and Christine? Stephen and Christine. I hated the thought of them together rather than us but it was a fact I've needed to grow with. I wasn't his first love and who knows if I'll ever be the last. I should just enjoy the present but every time she's mentioned it pulls parts of me away. We're suppose to go see her get married in just under a month. What if in this universe he objects? Maybe exploring the multiverse wouldn't be a good idea after all.
