Swarm of the Damned

Warning: Spoilers for the movie!! Also, wow so many chapters in less than 48 hours!! I just want to thank you guys again for all of the love. I couldn't have imagined this book getting 1k reads let alone any at all. This was a personal journey for me and I'm thankful to have had you all come along with me. :) but the story is not done yet! I don't have an estimate on how many chapter are left but I know it's not many which does make me sad but every story must come to an end. :( Here's a new one for you all and I'm sorry it's not longer. But I still love it and I hope y'all do too!! Love you <3

I make it look easy

Wanda was sucking the life out of America and I couldn't handle this visual anymore. "WANDA!" I yelled in a sing song tone. Her movements stopped as she looked at me with piercing eyes.

A large Speer grew in my hand as I sliced my way through the large rock figures. Eventually needing to switch to a sledgehammer in order to really break them down. One of the rock figures clawed my side as the other kicked me into the ancient walls of Wundagore. But that didn't stop me for one second. With a heavy grunt I sprinted towards the first rock figure and smashed my hammer through it like it was nothing. Quickly forming a pick axe with my other hand and using the now broken body as a vantage point for me to leap. The pointed end sliced through its neck as I pulled up with a battle cry.

When my feet hit the ground a large crashing sound erupted behind me. Turning I saw the now decapitated head of the only left living worshipper of Wanda. Red glowing eyes fading into cold grey. Exact same fate I wanted for Wanda. "How's that for motherly?" I reported swinging my pick axe into an Eldritch sword.

"Still questionable since she's still in my grasp."

"You still haven't had enough blood on your hands huh? Something tells me the last person I need parenting advice from is you." Wanda was visibly angry as was I. This back and forth was only passing the time for Stephen to work past the souls of the damned who would try to capture him since he's dreamwalking into his own corpse. Not exactly liked which is quite ironic for a book that breaks every major rule. Wanda lunged at me but I quickly dodged it. Swinging my sword at her with as much force as my body had left in it. Slicing her shoulder only for her to regenerate it and break my sword in two.

I knew Wanda was more powerful than I could even imagine for myself but somewhere behind those red eyes was still Wanda and not the Scarlet Witch. I just needed to find her. Her fingers began to curl and my eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Until I felt an internal ripping which eventually was felt on the outside. I looked down to my side see Wanda literally ripping me open from the inside out. Not a single hint of mercy in her eyes.

Collapsing to my knees I made a last ditch effort to free America from Wanda's magical restraints. I sent four quick blades in America's direction slicing through the witch's magic. America fell with a small slam but recovered quick. Suddenly screams were erupting from a distance and just before my body fell completely to the ground I saw my dearly beloved's corpse souring through the air with the souls of the damned clinging to him. Wanda sent a blast which finally knocked me over before hitting me into the carvings on the walls. Wanda restrained America again before going to fight Stephen. "Dreamwalking you hypocrite." Were the last words she said before getting enveloped in a swarm of the damned. Stephen helped Wong place her into a spherical trap before running and pulling America down.
