A total of 5 days have passed since the whole incident, and to this day, Taehyung still ignores her. She was dying in guilt, she wanted his attention so desperately.
Today was a big day for her. Today is the competition, where she competes against 6 of the best singers in her grade to win a trophy. "Dada?" She calls out softly, knocking on his door.
Hearing no response, she sighs and goes in. "I didn't tell you to come in" Taehyung says coldly. She looked down "I-I'm sorry, but dada, can you come to school with me this afternoon? Today is my competition..."
"I'm busy this afternoon, I won't be coming" Taehyung says coldly and goes back to typing. Her heart breaks as she feels her eyes watering "B-but you promised!"
"I believe you also promised to not lie to me, if you can break a promise, then so can I" Taehyung mutters, staring at her. She breaks into sobs and runs out of the room, crying her heart out.
On her way, she bumps into Jimin who immediately stops her on seeing her tears. "What happened, love?"
"Da-dada Said he won't c-come and watch me si-sing" She cries, hiccuping in between. "Shh, don't cry alright? I'll try and convince him. If he Doesn't make it there in person, I'll try to make him watch the premiere online, your school will broadcast it live on YouTube, right?" Jimin asks, wiping her tears.
She nods. "I'll try and get him to watch it okay? Now go get yourself ready we'll leave in an hour" Jimin says with a smile.
She nods and runs to her room and throws on the prettiest, baby pink coloured dress she could find. She put on light makeup, which yuri taught her to do and puts on a cute hair band on her head, matching her glittery net dress.
At the contest....
Ara takes a deep breath and stands in the centre of the stage, in front of the mic. She looked around the audience, trying to see if Taehyung was there, but there were so many people, it was hard to find him, that is, if he showed up in the first place.
She sighs quietly and fixes her mask and dress before taking another deep breath, ready to sing.
She started singing "Some" by Bol4. The song was very soft, matching her voice better than any other. The way she sang so passionately with good control over her voice and breathing, singing ever so perfectly, made everyone very Impressed.
