Simeon x G/N Reader ~Fluff~

(Y/N)'s POV, written in second person:

"(Y/N)!" Luke exclaimed happily, rushing towards you to give you a hug. 

You smiled and embraced him, happy to see him. You watched the small angel hold onto you tightly. However, you were really looking forward to seeing a certain someone that was bound to be not far behind him.

The thought of seeing Simeon again sent your heart fluttering. You had it bad for the angel, it was obvious to almost anyone... Well, except for Simeon himself. He seemed to be completely oblivious when it came to knowing your feelings.

Nonetheless, endless thoughts of him swam through your head at night, keeping you up. You hadn't been able to sleep properly for nearly a week, excited for when you would be able to see him next. And today, you intended on doing something about that, by confessing your feelings to him and hoping that he reciprocated them.

"Hello (Y/N)! I see Luke is happy to see you as well." The voice you so longed to hear spoke.

"Hi Simeon!" You said, looking up and smiling at him.

He was gorgeous as usual, his blue eyes full of happiness as you left go of Luke and went to embrace him as well. He hugged you back happily, chuckling slightly.

After letting go, you turned towards Luke. "So what's on the agenda today, Luke? More baking?" You asked him curiously, hoping that sometime today you'd be able to sneak away from him with Simeon to tell him how you felt. You loved Luke, but this was something you wanted to do privately.

"Yep! Barbatos offered to teach me how to create his famous cake! I'm super excited!!" Luke jumped up and down with excitement.

You raised an eyebrow. Luke was going to be with Barbatos today? Perhaps you and Simeon were meant to be the taste testers then. No doubt Barbatos would like to keep the two of you out of the kitchen while they worked.

"That's pretty special, Luke. I doubt Barbatos would share the recipe with anyone else so easily!" You told him, elated that you would  maybe get a second of alone time with Simeon while Luke was preoccupied.

"Oh! Since it's a secret recipe, you two aren't allowed to join us! Barbatos said that only I was allowed to see how it was made, cuz I'm special." Luke beamed, beginning to skip in the direction of Diavolo's castle.

You looked at Simeon in confusion. 

"Yep! Luke is telling the truth. We are dropping him off today, and we'll be stopping back later to taste the cake they made together,"  Simeon smiled, one hand behind his head. "I hope that's alright, (Y/N)."

Your heart skipped a beat. Several hours alone with Simeon? It was like a dream come true. "Of course, Simeon. I love spending time with you." You smiled back at him.

"Come on (Y/N) and Simeon! I'm gonna be late!" Luke cried out, the two of you noticing that he was already about 50 feet away.

The two of you let out a small laugh and quickly followed Luke to the castle.

After dropping Luke off with Barbatos, you and Simeon headed to one of Devildom's parks to sit and enjoy one another's company. The two of you had decided to grab an ice cream sundae to share from a small shop nearby before sitting down on one of the park benches to enjoy it. Simeon had set it down on the bench between the two of you so you both wouldn't have to continuously hold it, and gave you one of the two spoons.

The moonlight shined down brightly on the two of you as you ate. You started thinking about how nice it would be to see the sun again. Not that you minded the everlasting night in Devildom, with its gorgeous moon and stars, but you wished to be able to see everyone in the daylight as well.
