two years ago
it was really late and I just woke up and I heard someone crying .
"momma ?" I asked
"go back to bed darling ."
"no momma no ." I scream as I see the empty bottle of pills and the blood pooling out of her arms
"I love you baby girl ." she whispered and started to zip in and out of consciousness. I called 911 screaming and crying . she lost a lot of blood . to many pills in her body . it was to late . my own mom . the only one I had left . gone . I woke up drenched in sweat screaming .
jack ran in and looked very alarmed .
"ah shit sorry . I didn't mean to wake you ." I whispered
"oh I haven't gone to sleep yet . home alone marathon ."
I nodded knowingly .
"you okay ?"
"yeah just a night terror ."
"I get those a lot too it's okay ." he smiles at me
"can I come watch home alone with you ? it's one of my favorites ." I smile smugly
"of course halo ." he bows and I grab my blanket and go into his room .
for it being jacks room it is very clean .
"I thought you would be the messy one ?" I chuckled
"that's Alex . boy can't find a damn thing ever ." I snort at jacks comment and collapse in mounds of blankets on jacks bed .
"sure make your self at home." jack laughed and I snorted in agreement
we watched home alone and I fell asleep with jack . it was nice having someone to take my mind off of stuff . like a cool uncle I've never had .
I woke up at 4 am to jack talking in his sleep .
"I'm sorry . I'm sorry . I'm sorry . I'm so alone ."
these words echo in my head and bounce around as I drift back to sleep
