Beyond the double doors, the animation studio began to reveal its "true colors". You knew that the place was eerie from the very moment you stepped inside, but seeing rusty cages dangling from a dark expanse above and below, there was a whole new definition being given to the word itself.

"W-What is this place?" You asked warily, standing beside Bendy with one of his arms around you. There wasn't very much room to walk without tumbling down into the dark abyss underneath the creaking platform you stood on. Glancing farther ahead of you, the platform formed a small and narrow pathway that lead to a more sturdy area.

"To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what this place is, or what it's purpose was." Bendy told you, glancing down at you with a look of uncertainty.

"Are you sure you want to keep going? I understand if you need time to rest after everything that just happened over the last few hours." He looked to be slightly on edge about your current state, both physically and mentally. With that question being presented to you, you began to think twice about what you had told him earlier. You told him that you could carry on, but now you were beginning to think that maybe you were lying to both him and yourself.

"I...I'm fine...I can keep going." You replied, worried that you may have sounded a little too hesitant. You wanted to be okay, but you honestly weren't even sure if you truly were.

The ink demon let out a quiet sigh, before crouching down to your height. You gave him a confused look, and he only responded to your expression with a short, "Hop on."  His offer wasn't left rejected, not even for a moment.

You slowly walked over and climbed onto his back, wrapping your arms around his neck and resting your head on his shoulder as he stood back up to his full height. He grabbed onto your legs and pulled one on either side of him, making sure to keep a somewhat firm grasp on you so that you wouldn't fall. It wasn't until then that you realised how tired you really were. Finding out about all of these secrets your family kept from you, and witnessing Norman's murder...It really stripped you of your energy.

It felt nice being able to close your eyes knowing that you weren't in any form of danger. You felt quite peaceful in that point in time as Bendy strode down the narrow pathway, his posture making it seem as though you hadn't made moving any more difficult for him whatsoever. He seemed to be able to do just about anything regardless of his condition.

The demon stopped in front of this old, metal contraption sitting on the edge of the platforming. It presented a large lever sitting on top, and connected to it was a long set of wiring that crossed over a large gap consisting of about 20 feet. At the far end of the gap was another platform, but there was a large wooden door on that side.

The only way to cross the gap was using a very sketchy looking bridge, that moved from one side to another with a switch of the lever.

"Please don't tell me that's the only way." You pleaded worredly. You were almost certain that thing would collapse if anyone were to stand on it. You closed your eyes and leaned your head into the crook of the demon's neck. Slowly but surely, your exhaustion was getting the better of you. Bendy frowned and turned his head to you, internally giving your actions his complete adoration.

"I'm sorry to have to inform you, but that is our only way." He answered, "I knew you weren't gonna be too thrilled with this part."

You gave him a tired glance. "You might be right about that, but you know what you're doing." You told him, trying to avoid looking over at the bridge and worsening your fears.

Bendy nodded and released one of your legs to pull the lever down, immediately taking ahold of it again after pulling the switch. The black cables occasionally squeaked against the metal machine as the gears rotated, but the bridge was slowly approaching the two of you.

"Just close your eyes if you don't like it. Pretend that it's solid ground." Bendy suggested, taking a step towards the bridge as it came to a stop. You definitely didn't want to see the bottomless pit below you as you crossed, so you took his advice and closed your eyes. Trying as hard as you could to imagine that you were calmly laying on the couch in the lounge, the situation seemed to become more lighthearted the more you thought about it.

It was easy to imagine resting somewhere when you were laying on his back, and it was quite comfortable up there too, so you would have been totally fine with having Bendy carry you everywhere.

As suddenly as you slipped into your comforting state of mind, you were ripped from it. The bridge came to an abrupt halt, and for a moment you thought you were gonna fall to your death when you opened your eyes.

"See?" Bendy said suddenly, stepping off the bridge and turning around to reveal that you two were now on the other side of the chasm. "Wasn't that bad, was it?" The demon asked teasingly, grinning as you huffed with annoyance.

"Yeah yeah... just keep walking, mister."

"And who told you that you could boss me around, eh? I don't have to carry you ya know~"

"It was your choice, not mine."

Bendy was silent at that, and he stepped over to the door. The moment he approached it, the door began to slowly open on its own, and a large hallway was displayed behind it. The walls were even worse off than the walls in the other areas of the studio. There were gaping holes all throughout the wooden surfaces, and the only part that was fairly decent in the hallway was the floor. The ink demon walked steadily into the hallway, and you flinched as the door shut itself behind you.

There was nothing but the sound of Bendy's heavy steps filling the room, but not for long.

Just as you were beginning to feel better after crossing the bridge, the entire room flashed with a bright light. You had no time to process what was happening, and you widened your eyes with a shriek as the hallway contorted into a twisted nightmare before your very eyes. There were ink-covered hands reaching through the holes in the walls, desperately grabbing for you. You couldn't comprehend any of it, and Bendy had somehow completely disappeared from it all.

Every second you spent fighting through the hallway left you to the mercy of the creatures, and you felt your airways being cut off as one of them grabbed ahold of your throat. Each one grabbed onto you, and gripped tighter and tighter every moment you struggled.

You tried to scream for someone, for anyone, but the hallway completely consumed you. You could feel the life being torn out of you, and the horrors filled your eyes before you blacked out completely.

All that you could see was darkness...
