You blinked your eyes open, glancing around your surroundings and noticing that you were alone, sitting up against the wall in one of the carnival booths. You distinctly remember Bendy climbing inside and laying with you before you fell asleep, but now he was nowhere to be seen.
Peeking your head out, you opened your mouth to call out for the ink demon, but stopped yourself. Those searchers might come back if you made any sudden and loud noises. Bendy had quite enough of them at the time, and it wasn't fun for you to have to duck behind the counter of the booth and hide until he could dispose of them all.
You felt bad about it, like somehow you should have helped him. Yet, he assured you that he could handle it, and worried over your safety each time you objected.
You weren't quite sure why all of these searchers were only attacking the two of you now, of all times, but Bendy hadn't said anything about it. Now that he was out of sight, it worried you more than ever that maybe more of them would appear at any point.
You quietly exited the booth, constantly checking your surroundings as you walked over towards the door the two of you had come in through. For a moment, there was only silence, but as you drew closer to the vent you had crawled through hours ago, you could hear voices.
They were coming from behind you, and you turned around to gaze upon a large set of stairs on the other side of the room. At the top of the stairs, standing around a table, you could see two black horns from where you stood, but that was all.
That was Bendy...without a doubt.
You moved closer to the platform, but didn't go upstairs. You were only trying to hear what the ink demon was saying, and who he was talking to.
"They weren't in any hurry, from what I could tell. I heard them yelling something about "mysterious, dangerous, razor-clawed monstrosities"...they must have seen the torn up boards in the ink machine room."
That voice...It sounded familiar...
You pressed yourself to the wall below the balcony that the two males stood on, and heard a quiet huff in response to the voice, which spoke again soon after.
"You don't look very well, are you alright M'Lord?"
Now you were sure, Bendy was talking with Sammy up there. Only one person you knew of called Bendy that, so it wasn't hard for you to figure out after hearing his voice.
"Of course I'm not alright! I haven't been alright in the last thirty years!"
Your heart sunk after hearing such a distressing wail leave the lips of your significant other. He wasn't doing too well, you knew very well that was true, but you didn't like hearing it. It was bad enough that he had been abandoned for so long, when you could have done something if you'd had known in the first place. Joey was the one to blame for that. The man went around doing what he wanted without telling anyone. I mean, hell, he brought Bendy to life and didn't tell anyone about it until it was too late!
There was a long pause after that, and you were starting to think that maybe they had heard you. Not willing to take the risk, and lose the trust of your paramour, you quietly backed away and tried to disregard the vague things you heard as you returned to the booths.
How awkward that would be if he had caught you. He probably wouldn't be able to trust you to stay out of his personal affairs. He might have already known you were there, for all you knew.
But who was Sammy going on about? Who had been up there in the ink machine room?
Someone else had entered the studio...It had to be the case. There was no way that a searcher had gone up there and yelled about dangerous monstrosities, they couldn't talk!
