It was tall, to start off. A pure nightmare to behold. You had never seen anything so terrifying. It carried two pointy horns on top of its large head. It wore white gloves on his hands, but the razor sharp claws underneath the fabric were easily noticeable. This thing could rip anything to pieces. The worst thing about it, was the huge grin on its face, a grin displaying nothing but deranged insanity, and the pleasure it gained from making other living things suffer. The only charming thing about it, was the white bowtie it sported on its neck.
You screamed and bolted in the opposite direction, running down a random hallway in an attempt to get away from that thing. Going over to the front door was not an option that you had even begun to consider, and the door had probably locked behind you when you came in anyways.
It was chasing you, and it wasn't very far behind either. Every step that it took made a loud thumping noise as it's foot hit the floor, but it's pace was beginning to become much too fast for you to outrun. The chase had you running out of breath. Your legs were burning, but the adrenaline pumping into your veins was enough to keep you going for the majority of the time. The demon could tell that you were getting tired, its grin growing as it continued to chase you through the old corridors.
Ahead of you, the hallway had nearly reached its end. Running as fast as you could, you turned the corner without slowing down. It was such a fast and sudden turn, that the demon behind you had ran face first into the wall. You didn't stop, nor spare it one glance as you ran. Turning another corner, you ducked behind a barrel of ink, praying that it wouldn't find you there.
You waited for what felt like hours, making sure not to make a sound as you hid behind the barrel. Just when you were beginning to think that you had lost it, you heard quiet thumping in the hallway just ahead of the barrel you were hiding behind. The demon wasn't done yet, and he wasn't planning on giving up at all. You were so scared, you were trembling from fear. Why did this sound like such a good idea in your head? Why were you so fixated on going back into this cursed place? It was a horrible idea, and you had wished to have known sooner.
The demon slowly walked in the direction of your hiding place, only worsening the state you were in. Letting its grin spread even wider, it spoke in a very low, and amused tone, "Don't think I won't find you Darlin'.....You can't hide from me forever~"
Oh shit, you were in trouble...
You were covering your mouth to prevent any noise from being made. Realising that you had no way out of this situation, a few tears slid down your cheeks. You were soooo dead, there was no way in hell that you were going to make it out alive. It was certain, only a miracle could get you out of here.
You confirmed that it was in fact a "he", so it was probably best to stop referring to him as an "it". Knowing that fact didn't exactly fix anything, but it had definitely made your thoughts worsen.
He was most likely not going to kill you right away. You would rather have him kill you quickly, instead of being forced to take more pain and abuse. The life that you had been living was not in any way better, and adding more suffering on top of it would be worse than death.
I guess you weren't really planning on going back anyways, so it didn't really matter. The demon was practically looming over the barrel by now, but you were deep in thought, and hadn't realised just how close he was until it was too late. He reached behind the barrel, his claws digging into your arm as he lifted you up and pulled you out from behind the barrel. You screamed in pain as he laughed at your feeble attempts to release your arm from his grasp.
He saw your tears, but only found it to be more amusing. "Found ya~"
You couldn't hold back the tears, turning your head away as you continued to try to pull away. "Let me go you monster!!" You screamed, your throat sore from screaming so loud earlier. Your arm was bleeding pretty bad, his claws only sinking deeper into your flesh as he gripped onto your arm even tighter than before.
He chuckled, wrapping his other hand around your neck. He lifted you off the ground, watching as you desperately scratched at his hand, trying to get some much needed oxygen. He tightened his grip, letting go of your bleeding arm. "Call me what you want, but its not changing anything." He continued to patiently wait for you to die, which was pissing you off. Why did he have to make it slow and painful? Why couldn't he just kill you and get it over with?!
"T-then d-do it.......Just k-kill me..." You could hardly speak, but you had managed to get something out. It would have been a whole lot easier for you if you could breathe for a minute!! The demon looked at you, saying nothing. He seemed to be deep in thought, but you didn't dare try to speak again, your throat would never allow it. His grin grew, loosening his grip just a little bit. You gasped for air, taking deep breaths to fill your lungs with as much oxygen as possible before he decided to choke you again. Surprisingly, he didn't do it again. You slowly lifted your good arm up to your neck, trying to pry his hand off of your neck. His grip hadn't changed, and was still very tight, but still not tight enough to choke you.
Before you had time to think about what happened, he slammed your body into the wall, instantly knocking you unconscious. It had gone from being choked, to complete darkness, in a matter of seconds.
What was he planning to do with you?
