Ending 3/3.

This is the ending I was talking about when I said this story was gonna get supernatural.

You were torn between two choices with an unchanging view on them. No matter how long you pondered over them, neither sounded like a good idea. Living in a loop? That sounded crazy, and you didn't want to lose your memories every single time. They were too precious to you.

Staying here? That sounded sad. Living as a spirit forever and being forced to watch Bendy suffer; what good could you get out of that? You would be suffering too, knowing that you could never come back and help him find peace again. Never would there be any light to fill the void in his heart.

Henry didn't rush you, and you were glad, because this would take a long time for you to make any sort of choice or conclusion. You didn't want to have to chose at all, but of course, not everything goes your way.

'Do I really have to choose? Is Henry sure that these are the only options?'

Your expression was just as torn as the choice to be made. This was destructive to your mind. Couldn't anything else be done? The room was silent as Henry observed you, his face a cross between sorrow and concern.

Wait a minute...

'Does Bendy have the power to choose?'

Maybe this choice wasn't up to you. You lifted your head as you thought about the possibilities, turning and glancing at Bendy.

The ink demon seemed to be thinking about something, as he had lifted his head and now appeared deep in thought. He was clearly still absolutely devastated with the loss, but now there was a level of focus mixed in his complexion.

Something had changed within his mind, and perhaps it was the choice that you could not make in order to save your life.

'What is Bendy thinking?'

Within an instant, Bendy lifted his entire frame, turning around to the hallway he had entered from, across the wooden planks. He stood there motionless for a few seconds, but just as you started to grow confused with his actions, he tightened his grip on your body and rushed out of the room, his thundering stomps echoing throughout the room and creaking on the weak planks.

'What is he doing? Where is he going?'

"What's with Bendy?" Henry asked, confused. I mean, he understood that the demon was upset, but why would he rush out so fast after being left to mourn?

You were left with an instant reaction, and something deep inside was telling you to follow him. "I don't know, but I'm following him." You replied suddenly, whisking off across the planks to pursue him as fast as you could.

The demon was really quick on his feet, and you went out through the hallways and to where your friends had been fighting the searchers. It surprised you how empty it was, as you had not witnessed the clearing of the creatures when Alice was drowned. There, you caught a glimpse of Bendy disappearing into the stairwells, and Sammy appeared to be saying something to him as he left, with the others watching worriedly. You had only heard the ending of his sentence.

"...soul in the river?" That's what you had picked up. It was a question, though what you had managed to get out of his words didn't appear to be a question.

Soul, and the river...What was that supposed to mean?

"You're gonna lose him." Henry warned, catching up to you and standing beside you as you broke out of your thoughts.
