I'm a better window than a door
Like a sunscreen fantasy in rainbow daydreams;
A windshield in a galaxy.Touch his chest, his arms, his face,
But I'm a memory.
He walks right through me,
Can't see me bleeding.This trenchcoat, is it chainmail?
No, a straight jacket.
Twist and shout.
It's loud enough for a dog to hear,
But still not quite a whisper.My back is exposed
Cold like I'm a ghost,
But I'm standing right here.
Can't cover up with a cardigan,
The weight will only bring me down,
The threads will spread,
And reek havoc on my nerves somehow;
Wanting to scream but
Nothing comes out.Tears keep drying before they can
Completely run out.
