"Ma'am, there are deadlines for today." Sabi ng secretary ko.

After graduating college, I was immediately brought to position by my father. I started being his secretary. Anim na buwan rin iyon bago ko siya pinalitan sa pwesto.

I became the CEO while my father became the COO. Si Mommy ay naging President. It was easy to turn over our business dahil wala namang may lakas ng loob na kumalaban kay Daddy.

He proved himself already and he made sure it's easy for me to take over.

So here I am, working for our company.

I sighed.

I looked at my finger and played with my ring, it's another one. Different from Jaylen's.

Our wedding didn't happen. All thanks to him.

But we're still close, we remained as friends, we go out from time to time.

I can still remember what happened. It was on my debut when he called off the wedding. Or should I say, he did something so our wedding will be called off.

"Hey, I'll give you my gift later." He said while we're dancing. He's my last dance for the 18 roses, si Dad ang una.

I don't really know the people I danced with, konti lang ang mga kilala kong lalaki. I invited Ethan and Christian, of course Trisha too.

Si Dirv ay hindi. Bakit ko gagawin iyon? I'll just ruin everything I did to push him away.

Si Ethan nga ay tinawanan ako dahil ngayon niya daw nakuha ang sayaw niya, after two years. I'm guessing he's referring to the prom we had in Korea.

Maliban sa kanila, and Agezho, mga anak na ng business partners namin ang nakasayaw ko who are obviously big flirts. It was the most annoying time of my life!

Mas malala sila kay Jaylen!

"I'm not interested." I told him.

"Really? Sayang naman." Nakangisi nitong sabi. "Though hindi ko alam kung magugustuhan mo iyon, it depends on the situation, sweetheart."

"Don't make a scene." Pinanlakihan ko ito ng mata.

He laughed, "Therefore I conclude, hindi mo iyon magugustuhan."

"Don't tell me you're really pla-"

"Tell me honestly, nahulog ka na ba sakin?"

"Anong nahulog?" I asked, confused with his question and what he's referring to.

"If may nararamdaman ka na." Nakangisi nitong sabi.

I rolled my eyes, "Sipain kaya kita?"

"Ano nga?" He's still waiting.

"Wala!" Pikon na sabi ko dito.

"Change of conclusion, I'm therefore gonna conclude that you'll like my gift."

Pagkatapos sabihin iyon ay ibinalik niya na ako sa upuan ko dahil tapos na ang kanta. He then sat beside me, he's my escort kaya may upuan rin siya sa tabi ko.

I looked at him because of confusion but he just wiggled his eyebrows at me.

After sometime, when the guests were all busy, nagulat ako ng makita ai Jaylen na may bigla nalang hinilang babae sa gitna. To dance with her!

Eh halos kokonti lang ang nasayaw. Hindi ko nga alam bakit may nasayaw eh hindi naman ito ball or something.

The girl is obviously shocked with his sudden move. Lalo pa ng bigla nalang hinalikan ni Jaylen ang babae sa labi!
