Today's the day I'll be married to the son of a well known hospital owner here in the Philippines. I'm just eighteen yet I have to do this already.

All my life, I was pressured by my parents to be the prim and proper one. To be the face of the Venxid's. Because my brother has always been stubborn, hindi nasunod kina Mommy. Our youngest is too young to even represent our family.

And as she grows up, she's neglected. All attention is on me. They want me to be perfect because I can catch a big fish.

Or let's just say, they're the ones who'll be catching a big fish.

But my parents make it look like the opposite, as if we needed someone else just so our business could bloom. Eh hindi naman! We're literally on top of the chain.

Both of us are still young for marriage but we both don't have a choice. We don't even know each other! We just met on our engagement day then they scheduled us dates then now, wedding.

And all I can say about him is, he's rude. So rude.

"This will just be on papers." He said while we're talking on the phone.

Nag usap kami kung sino ang may lakas ng loob na mag back out at sirain ang kasunduan ng parehong pamilya. And damn, even with how stubborn looking and rude he was, it's amusing he just let this happen and not disagree with his parents.

Which is not even obvious on his dark aura.

He has this serious and annoying type of aura which in one glance, you'll find him hot but with his attitude, you'll want to murder him.

Good for him I was raised to not tell my thoughts. Hindi kami nagkakaroon ng malalang away on our dates, because I don't talk back. All my answers are just kept to myself.

"You don't have to remind me." Kalmado kong sabi, nakatitig sa salamin.

I'm already done with everything now. I'm just waiting for my parents, the car, then to the church.

Wala akong nararamdaman, even nervousness, I can't feel.

"You sure you're not backing out?" Paninigurado nito.

"No," bakit pa? As if magbabago ang kapalaran kong maipakasal?

Dahil doon, our wedding indeed happened. It was too formal for me even it was such a big celebration. Even the media are here. We didn't have to pretend like couples because everyone knew and assumed it's an arranged marriage.

It obviously is! They announced the merging of both companies.

"You may now kiss the bride." Sabi ng pari after everything.

I sighed bago nakipagtitigan sakanya. He pushed a tongue on the side of his cheeks as he intensely stared at me. He slowly lifted the veil. And once he did, he stepped closer.

Napaigting ang panga nito bago yumuko ng konti. He touched my cheeks so I closed my eyes tightly, preparing for my first kiss. Mahinang humaplos ang isang daliri nito sa pisngi ko as he gave me a kiss.

It was a soft one. Nang bumitaw ito ay napatitig siya, sunod sa labi ko bago nilingon ang mga bisitang nagsipalakpakan. We both smiled at the guests until receptions' over and we were now brought to our house.

Napaikot ang tingin ko ng makapasok. It's my first time being here. It's a gift from both our parents.

The place is a two story house or let me say, a mansion. It was so big just for us two. Good thing we have a maid with us and guards outside. Napahinga ako ng malalim, I can't believe I'm no longer a Miss.
