POV Adrien:

I could see fear in her innocent and frightened eyes, I hurt her and she fell on the ground and blood coming out of her mouth. I can't feel anything or comprehend anything because I'm still transformed to Cat Blanc, I just hear yelling, but not a minute passed until I came back to what I was. I detransformed and I saw Nino and Alya next to Mari lying on the ground. I'm trying to process what just happened, but I heard a voice saying that I'm guilty. Guilty for what? Why my wife on the ground, what's wrong here?

I joined Alya and Nino and I found out that I'm not dreaming, this is really Mari my wife, I widen my eyes, what just happened, she was fine, we were having fun with Layla.

Adrien: Alya, why Mari is on the ground? What are you guys playing

She turned to me and started hitting my chest with her both hands hardly that I could spit my heart in that moment

Alya (while crying): your fault, that's your fault you are dumb, you killed her, you were akumatized, you just cataclysmed your wife without any pity, you are a monster

Nino held Alya trying to calm her down. No way I could kill Mari, it's impossible, it's me who sacrificed my life a lot for her, and I won't be able to kill my wife, the one I love.

I moved Alya and got Mari bridal style to the car. Alya come with me and I drive so fast to the hospital while crying hot tears that can burn everything in their ways.

I got Mari in my hands, luckily, she is breathing but her pulses are so weak. The doctor asked what happened and I kept quiet

In 30 minutes, the doctor come out. I stand in front of him with Alya, but his face looks scared

Doctor: I'm sorry, she is fine, we could help her and she is alive, but the baby is dead, he couldn't survive, I'm really sorry. The person who attacked her was a real monster.

Alya: can we check on her?

Doctor: yes, but if you want to tell her about the baby, please go slowly

Alya grabbed me by my wrist walking to her room. I'm like a robot walking and a robot don't have a soul or life. We went inside to see my wife on a hospital bed. I killed my baby, I'm the monster they are talking about him. My father doesn't lie, I'm a killer and I was about to kill my wife and I killed my own baby

Marinette started opening her eyes, Alya sitting next to her and holding her hand. I'm just standing beside the bed, like a body without life, a dead body. What hurted me the most, my name coming out of her mouth as a first word and she smiled at me. I don't deserve her; I don't deserve this smile. She will hate me once she knows about our baby.

Alya gazed at me, asking by eyes signs if she can tell her about the baby, but I couldn't move, I'm under shock. How could she forgive me for killing her own baby?

Alya: Mari, I want to tell you something

Marinette: what's up? I'm happy that I didn't die, I think kitty you won't get rid of me easily

Alya: your baby is dead, I'm sorry Mari, the cataclysm hit your baby

Mari put her hands on her empty belly, her tears falling without stop, but a nurse voice interrupted her while coming to the room

Nurse: Mrs. Agreste, I'm happy that you are fine, but I'm so sorry for your baby, this person was really monster to attack a pregnant woman

No 2 without 3, that's what my mom was saying when I was a kid. Alya, the doctor and now the nurse, so I'm really a monster. I'm a killer, I just don't deserve anything. I put my hands on Mari's cheeks and I just left the hospital, I transformed to Astrocat and I flight to a desert place where I'll be alone just with my other guilty self.

POV Marinette:

I understand what Adrien feel. He thinks that he killed me, but I'm alive. It happens some problems like this especially when hawkmoth is active, this new hawkmoth is really so smart. I lost my baby, I'm really sad to know that our baby is dead and I didn't even have the time to see him or even to cuddle him but life isn't over, the most important thing is that my husband is with me even if losing my baby is really a big shock for me. I felt useless and I wasn't able to protect him. I take a look at Alya, and I found her crying

Marinette (while rubbing her belly): Alya, I'll be fine really, I know I'm sad to lose my baby but I still have Adrien, you and Nino

Alya (while crying): I'm sorry Mari, Adrien left
