POV Marinette:

Adrien: maybe I won't forget, but you won't suffer anymore, and I'll be sure to protect you this time. I love you so much and what happened hurt me so much. It's so much pain to see my wife touched by 2 monsters, and also, you won't fear me

He stands up, and open the burrow. He was about to go in, and I hugged him from behind, my hands on his chest. Oh my god he is so warm. He turned around and hugged me tightly

Adrien: I promise I will fix everything

Marinette: take care of yourself

I let him go. He gave me a peck on my lips and left.

POV Adrien:

I admit it, it's a hurtful solution for me, I won't forget anything, but at least my wife will be safe. She won't have such a bad memory. I will learn from this mistake, the mistake of removing my ring. Life is full of lessons, especially when those lessons are hard and painful, and concern who we love the most.
