4 weeks later....
Me and Lo was at the dance studio practicing our duet and it was going well. We added some extra moves and it was looking very dope so far. I couldn't help but wonder what Lo was going to decide. The competition and basketball game was just two weeks away.
After we was done. We sat down and I passed him his water to drink.
''That was dope. I think we really have a shot of winning again.'' I said smiling.
''Yeah fasho. Especially with that flip I thought you. It's finna be hot.'' He said excitedly.
He had been way more happy the past few weeks and I couldn't help but think that it might me cus he got back to dancing.
I half smiled at him and he looked back at me with concern.
''What's wrong?'' he asked.
''Nothing bae.'' I brushed off.
He got up and kneeled in front of me holding my thighs.
''C'mon babe. You know you can talk to me, right?'' He reassured and I looked at him.
''Well, I stay thinking about your big decision.'' I said and he sighed.
''I'm not trynna rush you, but have you decided what you want to do?'' I asked.
''Nah I haven't. And it's okay for you to wonder.'' he said and he got back up pulling me up as well.
''I don't know what to do.'' he confessed and I looked at him.
''I mean I don't wanna let the guys down and I'm not trynna lose a scholarship I barely even got.'' He explained.
''Don't do the basketball game cus you don't wanna let ya teammates down. It needs to be because you want to do it for yaself.'' I said.
''Plus if you don't wanna do the dance competition I underst- ''Hey.'' he cut me off.
''I did not spend these amazing weeks practicing with you just to bounce, okey?'' he said smiling and I smirked.
''When I dance with you, I feel like I can do anything. And it makes me feel like the happiest nigga in the world.'' he said smiling and I smiled too.
''Yeah I've noticed.'' I smiled.
''So I'm definitely doing that dance competition.'' he said and I bowed my head in realization.
''So that means...'' I said
''No basketball scholarship.'' he finished off.
''Maybe there's another scholarship that you can get. I mean you have some amazing grades. Plus we got exams next week and the valedictorian is being elected. Maybe that can do something.'' I proposed.
