I was getting ready early on, when Lo facetimed me.
"Mmmm, sup beautiful?" he licked his lips and I chuckled softly shaking my head.
"Hey honey. You aight?" I asked sweetly as I made my way down the stairs.
"Honey huh?" he smirked and I mugged him. He started laughing.
"I'm playing. I'm good love how bout you?" he spoke turning off the tv and getting up off his seat.
"Yeah I'm chillin. I'm just getting ready so ya ass don't tell me I'm always taking too long." I looked him sideways.
"Why you saying it like you don't always be taking mad long?" he squinted his eyes, pouting his lips.
I sighed rolling my eyes playfully, when the doorbell rang.
"Who ringing the doorbell?" I asked in myself. Lo was still on the phone and he positioned the camera on the counter whilst grabbing a leftover meal outta the fridge.
When I made my over and looked through the peep hole, I sighed seeing who it was.
"Lo, lemme call you back inna bit aight?" I said and he nodded chewing on his food.
I hung up and opened up the door, revealing Ray in the door frame.
Even though he overstepped the other night, he didn't look any less finer than before.
"Hey miss." he awkwardly smiled and I just pursed my lips before letting him in.
I hated when he called me that cus I swear he was older than me.
"Talk." I simply shrugged cus I was still kinda upset.
"I just wanted to apologize for how I acted the other night. It was totally unprofessional and I completely understand it if you're firing me." he told humbly.
"What exactly are you apologising for?" I asked with my eyebrows straight.
"For... overstepping and questioning you. I'm sorry." he bowed his head a bit.
I sighed and noticed it came from a genuine place.
"I'm not gonna fire you." I told and his head came back up and he looked surprised.
"You're not?" he asked so cutely.
"No. But I never want you thinking you can question me ever again, or disobey me. You understand me?" I pointed and he nodded.
