Emerson Diors didn't always like the Weasley Twins. Their pranks were unbearable. Their attitude left much to be desired. But after their first and second year, they taught Emerson how to...
After three years, I have finally been able to get back into this account :) I had forgotten the password I had, and then forgot which email I used, ect ect blah blah. Anyway, I have returned.
I was going through this story to refresh my memory of what I had written and where I left off. This was my most read fic and I figured if I was going to start somewhere it might as well be here. So, after reading, I have come to three conclusions:
One: My writing during this was awful, lmao. I started this book when I was a freshman in highschool (which was like almost 6 years ago) and have not written anything for it since 2019, the beginning of my senior year. Now I literally just finished my second year of college, am 20, and hate my old writing.
Two: I virtually have no memory of where I was going with the Oliver Wood thing. Like, Emery didn't like Oliver so I can't remember if they were going to date or not or how George was going to make his way into the whole thing. Also I think the way I started this with the whole Emery and the Weasley twins being best friends thing is just so cliché, and I really just could have done it all a lot better.
Three: I'm honestly contemplating either doing a total rewrite for this book or discontinuing it all together. I really dislike writing in first person and I feel like I could make it a lot better just by writing it in the same way that I started the New Perspective series.
I don't even know if Harry Potter fan fictions are still even a popular thing anymore? But idk, I'm twenty, I'm bored, I'm a huge nerd, and writing a fan fic doesn't give any money to JK Rowling so whatever.
Also side note, I was checking my messages and someone literally asked if I died. Three years ago I was really active on Wattpad with my faceclaim books and my new hp stories and then I just uninstalled the app and forgot about everything. ALSO why the fuck does this app make you pay for stories and literally watch ads now. Like this app used to be a lowkey thing where people wrote anonymously and shit. I went to reread a book that I found like four years ago and now I can't read it and idk I have a lot of feelings.
Anyway, I'd love to hear opinions about what I should do and what you guys think. I don't even know if people still read these types of books anymore.
Thanks for the support during my hiatus :) ~ Aly
