Part of me kind of drifted from the "out of sight, out of mind" belief because well "absence makes the heart grow fonder", but what if the application of both beliefs is subject to condition or situation, cause really, thinking about growth, it isn't the creation of a new thing that never existed before, it's the breeding of something that was previously there, the layering of a foundation, the building up, so maybe that's the thing, maybe absence can make the heart grow fonder but the fondness has to be there to begin with, after all, absence cannot make the heart to BECOME fond, only grow fonder, so maybe the only reason the person was even in your headspace to begin with, was because they were in your eye space or your physical space, seeing someone, hearing about what they're up to can no doubt make you think of them, but true, pre-existing fondness of the heart, it was makes you miss them when they're not around.
