Cause you deserve more
you deserve more than "maybe i'll come see you, maybe i won't"
you deserve more than hesitation
you deserve more than the ego they present
and the condescending manner that they meet your words
what do you miss?
their touch, in which was for them too?
their words, in which they took back?
you deserve more than "my past lover is prettier than you"
beauty is subjective, true
but how can you be in love and meet the eyes of your lover and still say..meh?
they tell you emotion isn't all there is
but what happens when emotion no longer even exists
your romance feels robotic
your love? unsympathetic
but they love you!
they claimed
they have love FOR you
they now claim
sit up straight and disregard tears
wasted ones, over somebody who isn't worthy
cause you deserve more
than pain after pain.
