Bondi Rescue (idk the title yet)

Chapter 3
I didn't feel sick, I just went home and slept, for a long time, it was one of the best sleeps I've had in a long time. Honestly the whole event of yesterday, it didn't throw me off or anything but I think next time I go down to the beach, I'll probably just swim for a bit. But for today I'm going to take it easy and go for some breakfast. I grab my keys, and purse and get out. It's really crazy, how yesterday afternoon I was unconscious on the beach, and now I'm completely fine and heading for breakfast. Anyway I get to the cafe and order some yoghurt with fruit imixed in with it, and some coffee.
i decide to take my food to the beach, it's still quite early and when i get there it's so quite and chilled out. it was already so warm. once i finish i decide to go up to the tower to thank everybody for yesterday.

Terry pov:
the boys were setting up the flags, and me and Deano were in the tower.
there was a knock at the door, and i go to answer it. It was Caitlin, the girl jake pulled out yesterday.
"oh hey how you going"
"i'm all good thank you i just thought i'd pop over and thank you guys for yesterday."
"ah no worries, come in and sit with us."
I take her inside and we sit up so we can still keep an eye on the water. Deano greeted her

your pov:
"so yh i just wanted to thank you boys for yesterday." they all said no problem it's our job etc. it was really nice.
"so how do you feel it was a pretty scary situation i bet." deano asked
"honestly i feel fine, no headache nothing. it doesn't feel real it was proper scary though." the boys agreed.
"your very lucky aye."
"yh, is Jake here? oh and Reidy I wanted to thank them too." they smiled. and said he was setting up the flags in front of the tower. So i thanked them, And said i was going to head down there.
When i reached the buggy, with the trailer on the back. Reidy was sat inside and Jake was lifting something. I didn't realise before how attractive he was. Anyway, Reidy spots me and waves. "hey how you going?" he asks
"hii yh, good as new."
he smiles and says he's glad.
"it was quite scary how quickly you went but we were glad to see how quick you came around." Reidy added.
Jake came over.
"yh i know, i'd jjsy been up to the tower and thanked Deano and Terry, but i wanted to come down and thank you guys too, it all happened so quick and i don't remember much."
"yh i bet, when i got to you, you were going under." jake said, with a worried expression.
"honestly tho Jake if you didn't get to me as quick as you did i don't think i'd be standing here so thank you so much it was pretty intense, first day in Bondi and that happens." we all laughed.
"welcome to Bondi Caitlin, you got the proper greeting." Reidy joked. I was talking with the boys for about twenty minutes before i mentioned that i should probably go and they should get back to it, when Reidy hugged me and got back in the buggy. I waved bye and started to head back up the beach. Suddenly i was called from behind and saw Jake running up. I stopped and waited for him.
"hey so i just wanted to say a couple of us boys are heading to icebergs tonight and wandered if you wanted to come."
is he asking me out? I think for a moment? i don't want to intrude on the lifeguards night out, considering half of them don't even know me. and i've got to start job hunting tomorrow.
"umm i don't want to intrude, yanno it seems like a boys thing i guess."
"no no don't be silly, it could be fun to introduce you to the boys, and id, i mean i would like to get to know you better."

Jakes pov:
she blushed, she's so beautiful, and considering how she was yesterday when i last saw her, she looked amazing.
"ok if you don't mind me coming?" of course i wouldn't she's being silly.
"no of course, we'll be going straight after pack up at 7 so you can meet us there if you want say 7:15?" I asked, hoping she would agree. i could see her brain ticking as if she was contemplating.
"ok yh i'll see you then."
"ok cool, well i'll see you tonight, i better get back or reidy will have my head." we laughed. She turned around and headed back. I can't wait i hope this day goes quick. I get back to reidy to keep setting up. and he's just smiling at me.
"what?" he just shakes his head and laughs. "seriously what?"
"nothing Jake, nothing at all." he teases
and so begins the wait.

caitlin's pov:
I can't wait for tonight, i'm going to be hanging out with all the lifeguards, i suddenly get super nervous, I'm going to be drinking with all of the lifeguards!!!
I head home and continue to unpack all my bags, I think bondi is going to be so much fun.
