Here we gooo. This is going to be long, maybe even three parts. Who knows. The beginning might be a bit boring but this ends on a bit of suspense. tension, enjoy

Caitlin's POV:

I'd woken up and got ready, left Jake a note telling him to do whatever he wants, he's welcome to shower etc... and that I'd see him later. I was walking down the beach, heading towards the tower, it was about 5:45, and I was on a shorter shift, I'd usually be on from later morning to pack up, but there was a lot of lifeguards on duty throughout the day. So I had bought my beach things with me as I'd be staying here til Jake finishes anyway. And as I was thinking about the day ahead. Someone had bumped into me, startled I just stared, and he laughed, "watch where you're going little one." Little one? Theres only one person who used to call me that? It's probably nothing. He looked nothing like him. "See you later sweetheart." What? Weird. Anyway I walked into the tower. And the boys who were setting this morning were already sat in the chairs. There was H man, Maxi, Bacon, Gonz and Deano. A few more boys would be coming in about two or three hours. "Hey what's up?" Bacon had asked. "Oh nothing, just some dude accidentally bumped into me on the beach but he said something that.. never mind it's nothing it just startled me a little." "Hmm weird as long as you're good, reckon we've got a busy day ahead, it's going to be a scorcher today." He added. "Yeah hopefully this morning goes quickly though." I said. "You're on til 2 right what you doing the rest of the day?" Gonz asked. "I'm not actually leaving the beach to be fair, I'm going to stay here and just chill on the beach I think, sunbathe swim, hopefully do a bit of surfing. Do you think Jesse would let me borrow his board Maxi?" "Yeah I don't see why not." He smiled. Me and Maxi were sent out to put some of the dangerous current signs up down south end. "Soooo how's you and Jake going?" Maxi cooed. "You're so nosyyyyy. But he's still in my bed right now so I meannnnn." We burst out laughing. "Seriously tho I told him I loved him last night dude." Maxi's mouth dropped. "Oh my god, you love him, what did he say? Wait no I know he said it back, you two are perfect for each other. Both crazy both good in the ocean." I giggled "yeah he said it back, it was so sweet. Man." I said as he was digging the hole, I was holding the sign.

A couple of hours later, and it was scorching hot, like 40 degrees plus at least. A few more of the boys had come in, there was Chappo, Beardy, Harries, Matt Dee, Corey O. But I know a few more are coming in when Jake starts too. Not one hundred percent sure who. But I know Whippet Is because I text him to ask. I'm pretty sure H and Gonz finish at midday though. Because I think H is going to help Gonz with a few bits of training. I thought it was a lot on duty but to be fair with the amount of people expected to be down here today mixed with the temperature I kind of get it. Bondi isn't exactly the smallest of beaches. I also know that a few people from this mornings shift ,ay be helping at Tama and Bronte with some of the other boys. Anyway I was stationed at the tower, with Matt Dee, and we had a few people come up to the tower, with cuts from flat rock which I cleaned up, and sent them on their way, most of them were quite young, Matt Dee said that Gromits tend to show off at flat rock. It was kind of funny, who wants to show off by getting completely cut up. Next thing I know, the beach is fully packed up full of people wearing the colours for Australia, some wearing face paint a lot of girls wearing Australian flag bikinis, there were flags and banners everywhere. The beach just full up of devoted Australians celebrating their day, it was quite mesmerising. "Its cool, huh?" Matt said reading my thoughts, I nodded. "It's pretty cool though, it's really nice seeing people from different cultures come together." I smiled. Keeping an eye on the beach and water. Whilst alerting the boys to more and more rescues, I checked the time, and noticed that Jake would be coming in, in about 15 minutes I grew excited. "Your smile tells me everything." Matt said. "What?" I looked at him. "I know who comes in at 12, your two are obsessed with each other. You literally saw him a few hours ago." He laughed. "Yeah but he was asle- wait how'd you know he stayed..." and then it came to me... "ugh Maxi." Im never telling him anything again. I laughed to myself. "Yep the little trouble maker told me, and Chips, and Harries, who by the way is very excited for you." I rolled my eyes with a smirk on my face. I spotted someone running up the stairs of the tower, so I stood up and met her at the door, she must've been no more than 16/17. When she got to the door, she was out of breath and looked fairly panicked. "Woah, what's wrong?" She just stared at me for a second. "Come in, and sit down up here with me, this is Matt, breathe." Matt looked between me and the girl. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?" He asked, she shook her head quickly. "Are you Caitlin?" She asked. 'Um yes?" She then reached into her bag. "I was um asked to bring you this, I was told it was urgent and you must get it." I took the note from her and opened it.
