Bondi Rescue (idk the title yet)

Rescue

i woke up my eyes were puffy and i felt roughhhhhh. i didn't want to mope anymore and just wanted to head to the beach. so after i had breakfast i chucked on my swimmers i headed to beach. it was nearly midday and the beach was busy already. it was going to be a scorcher of a day. I sat down in south end. and started to sunbathe. The lifeguard had their hand pretty full today backwards and forwards. I recognised Gonz and Azza in the buggy down south end. obviously they didn't know me so they didn't say anything. but it was pretty interesting to watch the amount of rescues they were doing. after about an hour, i decided to go for a walk along the waters edge. it was insanely busy. i had to keep dodgeing people who went in the surf. i saw Reidy and Jake in the buggy between the flags.
"heyyyy boys"
"oh hey caitlin how you going" reidy asked looking between me and the water. Reidy was standing up so i sat in the buggy with Jake. There was another guy with them too.
"i'm good good bored tho so just going for a stroll, you seem heaps busy."
the boys laughed.
"yh pretty mad, gotta be at least 40,000 down here" my face probably looked pretty shocked because they all laughed.
"oh hey this is matt dee by the way, matt caitlin this is the girl we were out with last night." jake said.
he shook my hand and we had a little chat. he's pretty funny actually.
*central to flags guy going under right out the back do u wanna go in his hands gone up*
Jake and Reidy both went in. i've never seen someone throw their shirts of so quickly. They pegged it. So it was just me and Matt.
"so i heard what happened the other day, that's crazy, did u ever speak to the other guy again?" he asked
"nah never seen him since, all i remember is him coming at me and then the rest is history." i laughed.
"well im glad your ok." he said
i thanked him and the boys had come back in, saving two guys in the end.
"hey guys im going to keep walking, you seem pretty busy i'll see you guys in a bit." Reidy and Matt said bye.
"see you later caitlin, catch up soon ok" jake asked. i agreed and walked away.
a couple hours later i was now in north end. i could see a kid struggling out there. I looked around for a lifeguard only to find an empty buggy, they must be out already on a rescue. the boys looked like he was getting worse so i took of my top and ran in no board no nothing just swimming. I swam out as quick as i could. When i got to him he seemed pretty bad, i held him up but he was panicking.
"hey, hey look at me your ok i have you but if you keep holding me under we are both going to drown so just stay calm ok?" he just nodded and stopped splashing around so much. The waves were pretty strong smacking into us.

Jakes pov:
me and Reidy were still in front of the flags. we had already done so many rescues today and it was 2pm it was going to be a long long day.
*hey yatsey are you down north end* we heard mouses voice blast out
*copy still down north end why?*
*um a girl has just gone in to help a swimmer and she's only swam out there so if u could paddle out there the guy seems to be panicking a bit*
*i can't see her mate where are you talking about?*
*by the boat ramp*
*awh yh got her chappo and i are going to head out there*
"damn a girl out there rescuing someone else what's going on?" i ask
"yanno what it's because we are overly busy our eyes can't be a million places at once yanno." reidy said
"yh i know it's crazy we need more people i guess."

Chappo's pov
me and Yatesy paddled out, once we got out there i realised who it was holding the boy up. i got her on my board. Yatesy picked up the boy and we headed in. Yatesy got in first. and we got smashed by a wave .It was pretty heavy i just panicked for Caitlin.
"chappo are you ok??" she was asking me???
"yh im fine let's get in" once we were reached shore she got of the board and we headed to the buggy. The boy ran up to caitlin and hugged her.

Caitlin's pov:
he just hugged me
"hey your ok i told you"
"thank you thank you thank you"
" no worries just swim between the flags ok?" he nodded and ran off.
"hey so ur stealing my job now?" chappo asked throwing a towel at me.
"hahah no no way. just you guys seemed pretty busy and i saw him, we were ok, but i couldn't get him without a board." he agreed.
*hey chips can u ask caitlin to come up to the tower, the boss wants a word* we heard Mouses voice.
*copy*
"what did i do?"
he shrugged "you better go up ey?"
i headed up to the tower, nerves filled me.

jakes pov:
all i heard was Caitlin's name and hoppo and i panicked. what had happened and why does he want her up there.
*hey boys i'm gonna head up for my lunch break can someone in the tower swap with me* i asked
*copy coming now* i thanked Maxi for stepping in for me and headed up to the tower to see what the hell was happening.

caitlin's pov:
i got to the tower, and saw Mouse, and singlets, Maxi was just leaving, they looked at me sympathetically and then they pointed round the back and i saw hoppo.
"hey Caitlin can we have a chiat..."
