Bondi Rescue (idk the title yet)

Bad weather

Sorry for the bad updates, and this chapter is a bit crappy at the end.

we were all lined up for the lifeguard challenge. the weather has taken a change for the worse. the surf is raging. it's raining. it's scary.
"right guys and girl. it's that time again where you've got to test your fitness. lifeguard challenge. you know the drill. run, swim board winner gets bragging rights." hoppo shouted.
"goodluck lads." harries said
"i hear there's another bet of corona and limes caitlin." Reidy said
"yeah me and jake thought we'd take the idea."
"well best of luck let's hope we both end up with some booze." Reidy said
"oi i heard that." chappo yelled
"right the surf is pretty heavy and the rain isn't helpful. but we still got to do it. so are you ready. 3...2...1 go!"
suddenly there were lots of lifeguards sprinting.
The run to Tama wasn't that bad. the rain was actually super refreshing.
chucking my shoes of and running down the beach. There were a couple guys in front. me Jake and Whippet were in line. Reidy and chappo were battling it out not far infront. The three of us all dove in at the same time. The swim was tough really really tough. The ski was off in front. after a couple of tough waves. i was getting really tired. Jake and Whip were a little ahead of me now. And suddenly i was smacked in the side by a rogue wave. it dragged me right under. i felt like i was in a washing machine. I began to feel like this was it. but then i surfaced. and swam like my life depended on it. once getting to Bronte. i was shattered. I grabbed a board and saw jake, whip, Maxi and Chappo all getting smashed trying to get past the waves. I managed to catch up to them as i paddled in. they were still a bit in front and there were a couple behind me. After a while i could feel the pain in my arms and chest. i could see bondi. After pushing myself so hard i started to feel a bit uneasy and faint.
I was right behind jake and whip.
"caitlin how ya doing?" i heard whip shout whilst paddling.
i couldn't answer i just couldn't speak.
"caitlin?" jake shouted.
and again i couldn't answer. a wave came from no where again. the boys positioned themselves to catch it. when suddenly i just went, i was hit by it. and again i was being rolled under the surface.
Jakes pov.
I was exhausted. these conditions were nasty. I was fighting position with Whip and Caitlin who was directly behind us. With Chappo in front. Whippet asked her how she was doing no reply. i shouted for her no reply. we looked back to see and we saw a wave looming.
"caitlin look out." i yelled and we both prepared a ourselves. and then we were washed towards shore very quickly. I couldn't see her as i got off the board.
"where is she?" I asked whip and chap.
"look her board!" whip shouted.
Suddenly we all sprinted in with our boards. already tired, it proved a challenge. there were people coming in past us.

caitlin's pov:
This time i struggled to surface. i couldn't see a thing and i was losing breathe.
when i was finally able to resurface. i was out further than i thought. No one else was in sight. and i was gone i had no energy. I raised my hand as high as i could. to try and signal someone. when another wave hit me over the head. i should've been looking for waves. I was knocked uncontious.

Whippets pov.
"found her boys!" i shouted as i lifted her out. Trying to get her on my board. I tried not to panick. My best friend was out cold. i held her until Jake and Chappo made it to me. They helped me lay her on the board.
"check for a pulse whip. check!" jake shouted.
"ok ok." and i did, thankfully finding a pulse. Whilst keeping her secure. we paddled back catching a wave. the boys were waiting back at shore. already had the oxy and defib ready.
we attached the oxy giving her the extra help.
"caitlin can you hear me. can you wake up for me" Jake asked. Desperation on his face.
"jake she'll be ok." i reassured.
suddenly she starts coughing.

caitlin's pov.
"hey hey your ok." i heard Jake
"just stay calm. your safe." whip said.
i opened my eyes to see a crowd of people.
"who won?" i asked.
the boys all had a massive smile on their face.
"unbelievable.". Whip said laughing.
"who won Chap?" Reidy smiled.
"Reidy did." he answered grumpy.
"oh nooo chap." i answered with a hoarse voice
"oiii i am here yanno im really hurt you didn't want me to win." Reidy moaned.
"sorry Reidy."
"hey are you ok?" Jake said knelt down next to me.
"i'm fine just really tired." i reassured "and cold."
Jake wrapped a towel around me.
"Caitlin are you alright?" Mouse came over to me.
"i'm ok mousey." i smiled
"you scared us." he added. i felt bad. i should've handled myself better out there. i caused stress to the boys.
"come on let's get you up." Whip and Jake both helped me stand. i was a little bit shakey. Felt like i was gonna fall forward and Mouse kept his arms out.
"i'm fine." i smiled again.
As i get in the buggy. i see Hoppo and Harries walking over.
"are you alright? that was rough and i'm sorry." Hoppo said.
"honestly i'm fine. it wasn't that bad just got a bit smashed out there."
"a bit, darling you were under." harries added.
"i feel fine just have no energy."
"just stay up in the tower for a couple of days ok." hoppo demanded.
"but-" Whippet nudged me "ok thank you Hoppo." i smiled.
It was Whippet driving, me in the middle and Jake on the outside. I lent on Jake as he had his arm around me to keep me warm.
"yanno you really scared me i thought you were gone." Jake said. I snuggled more into him and told him i was sorry and i was fine. Once i was sat up in the tower. Deano had asked about me and Mouse and Matt were asking to. i told them all i was fine. As everyone was leaving. i was talking with Maxi by the medical bed. And i just felt super tired. I had to steady myself.
"hey." maxi put his arms around me.
"i'm ok honestly."
"stop. your not. you need to just go home and sleep."
"but we were all going out."
"i don't care i'm officially banning you. wait here." Maxi demanded
"fine" i huffed
and he walked out the tower grabbing his stuff. when he came back he had Jake with him. and he looked concerned. At this point i was sat down.
"come on you let's get you home." Jake said.
"Maxiiii i wanted to go with you boys and now your forcing jake to leave to."
"i'm not i told him i'd take u home quick, but he insisted on taking u home." Maxi said. It made me smile a bit. it showed he cared.
"thank you Jake."
"no problem."
"love u maxiiii." I joked. i loved all the boys they were my family.
"love you too caitlin go home rest."
and jake took me to his car. he helped me walk even tho i insisted i didn't need it, but he just wanted reassurance that if i passed out he'd catch me.
we went home. and i fell asleep basically as soon as i layed down on the couch.
