AN: bit of a long chapter tonight, full of drama TW: violence and abuse

as i walk into my apartment. i receive a text.
J: i'm here
he's here? I hear a noise and it makes me jump.
C: where are you?
J: here
i walk further into my apartment. as i head towards my bedroom he comes out.
"hello caitlin long time no see."
"what do you want?? how did u even get in"
"i spoke to the receptionist told her i was ur dad and wanted to check on u she gave me a spare key."
"why why are you even here? get out"
"now why would you speak to your father like that?" he starts heading closing and i back away.
"you are not my dad!" i yell
he runs at me and i turn for the door. he grabs my hair pulling me back. i let out a yell.
"now your going to be quiet and do as your told." i start to cry as the pain of his grip sets in. i elbow him in the ribs and run the other way.
"ah you bitch. get back here." i run into my room as push myself against my door. I pull my phone out. calling the first contact. which happens to be Chappo as it's alphabetical. he doesn't answer. Joe's trying to break down the door.
"i'll wait here all night if i have to."
i click ring on Jakes number. i was crying as he starts kicking the door.
"hello?" i hear jakes voice. and let out a sigh.
"jake help me.. please i need help hes in my apartment."
"what? calm down where is he?... caitlin" he got though the door. he's grabbed me.

Jakes pov:
me and the boys were at bucket list having a couple drinks when i received a call from caitlin
"caitlin??" i hear her let out a scream and shouting. the boys look at me with concern. i hung up the phone and stood up.
"caitlin's in trouble there's a guy at her apartment, and i think she's hurt." Chappo and Whippet both stood up.
"we are coming with you. we have to phone the cops." Chappo said.
"i'll drive. tell me the address." Whip added.
the whole way there my leg was shaking with anxiety I hopes she's ok. i'm so angry at whoever this guy was. she was so panicked earlier.

Whippets pov:
When we got to her apartment. we broke in the door and tried to find her. when we walked into her bedroom. this huge guy was on top of her. He was trying- i can't even explain it. but he was hitting her. she was crying and begging him to stop.
"oi get the fuck of her now" Jake yelled. we all ran in to get her Jake pulled him away and I ran to see get Caitlin. I held her whilst she cried. Jake was fighting him and Chappo was trying to help. but it was a proper brawl between him and Jake.

Caitlin's pov:
i was hugging Whippet. when Joe kept hitting Jake. Chappo was trying to pull him away.
"Joe please stop. Please. you can have me. just don't hurt him."
joe pulled away "oh i see, new boyfriend huh? he's cute." he laughed and turned back around. i stood up and got in front of Jake. Joe slapped me to the floor.
"hey. don't touch her!" Whip stood up. the boys all grabbed him and took him out the bedroom and that's when i heard the cops show up. they arrested him and took him away.
Jake came back in the bedroom. he came over. and hugged me. i don't think i've ever held onto anyone so tight.
"shh it's ok your alright." i took a real deep breathe.
Chappo and Whippet came in, i stood up and hugged them. Whippet first "thank you.. so much for coming."
"hey no worries we said we were always here didn't we. realistically we shouldn't have left you on your own. you should have come to the bucket list with us." Chappo said
"it was my fault. i said i just wanted to go home."
"i should've come back with you." Jake said standing up behind me.
"it's fine don't blame yourself."
we had a group hug. then they helped clean up room. and jake cleaned up my face in the bathroom. i was sat on the toilet and he held a tissue to my nose. I kissed him. It just happened. but it was nice. he made me feel safe and warm. "jake can i ask you something? i understand if you say no." i asked.
"go for it." he smiled.
"can i stay at your place tonight? it's just i don't feel safe what if he comes-"
"of course, why would i say no?" he jumped in.
"i don't know. we haven't known each other that long."
"caitlin... i like you, and i want you to feel safe." i thank him, kiss him and then hug him. we go back out to the kitchen where the boys are.
"you ok caitlin." Whippet asks.
i tell him i'm fine and let him know i'm staying with Jake tonight. i grab my bits, for work tomorrow and to sleep in etc. we get into Whippets car. and start to drive.
"guys can we go and get some drinks, i feel like i need it?" i ask.
"well i think some of the boys are still at the bucket list? we could head there? what do you think Whip?" Chappo asked nudging Whip. me and Jake were sat in the back.
"sure why not. only if your up for it caitlin?"
i say i am and then jake looks at me.
"are you sure you want to?" i nod and lean into him. i see Whippet smiling in the mirror.
when we get to the bucket list. we find Reidy, Gonz, mouse, Jesse and Maxi.
"woah caitlin what happened to your face." chappo slaps Maxi on the head. "oh sorry, are you ok?" he rephrases
"i'm fine, bit shaken up but the boys helped me out."
"god i'm glad ur ok, do you want a drink caitlin? boys?" Reidy asked standing up. we all say yes and he goes to the bar. i tell Jake i'm going to go and help Reidy. When i get to the bar, he's already ordered and payed.
"hey reid's."
"hey so are you really ok? that's a nasty bruise forming on your eye."
"yeah, i mean face hurts and it was really really scary, i can't believe he is here."
"yh i bet, hopefully the coppers will deal with him. just glad your safe."
"yh i'm good, jakes letting me stay with him tonight."
"oh reallyyyyyy" i shove him
"shut up." i say laughing.
"it's fine we all knew it."
"WHAT?!"
"yh we've all been waiting for you two to get together."
"what do you mean i haven't been here long."
"when he saved you we knew the look on both your faces, then you started working together it was only a matter of time" the bartender comes back, "cheers mate." reidy says. i look down and blush, then i have an idea.
"excuse me, sorry can i get 9 shots of whatever please all the same though."
"what! are! you! doing!?" Reidy shouts. the guy comes back with a tray of shots. i bring them over to the table.
"no way caitlin i have work tomorrow" Reidy says.
"so do i?" he refuses so does gonz and Jake. "ok 3 shots for me. Jesse, Maxi, Mouse Chappo and Whippet you ready." they all nod and take their shots. i do three in a row. slamming each shot down.
"damn caitlin." mouse says
"i've had a Tough night leave me alone"

After a couple of hours i'm pretty drunk. but a nice drunk. me and Jake walk home. wel back to his. it was a nice walk, not too far we get to his apartment.
"right so you can take my bed, i'll take the couch." he tells me. i try to refuse and he doesn't take no for an answer. he grabs some shorts and leaves me to get changed. once we say goodnight, i kiss him passionately and he returns it. we say goodnight again. i climb into his bed try to sleep.

joe broke into jakes house, he attack jake and just kept hitting him repeatedly i was so scared but couldn't move, i physically couldn't, i was just watching i couldn't speak. he was just beating jake over and over again.

i wake up and sat bolt up right. i was sweating. and crying and didn't even realise until i felt the tears. i opened jakes bedroom door. and crept to the bathroom. when i came out.
"hey you ok?" i jumped out my skin jake had woken up.
"jesus you scared me."
"sorry- have u been crying?"
i looked down. "nightmare."
"it's ok, do you wanna talk about it." he asked
"no, not really sorry."
"hey it's ok. just go back to bed." he said whilst pulling me in for a hug. i pull away and head towards his bedroom but stop at the door.
"hey jake, i don't want to be alone, do you mind?" he smiles.
"no i don't mind. i'll come."
we get into bed together and he hold me into a hug. and i fall asleep like that. i feel so safe with him. i really really like him. i don't know how to explain it.

pretty heavy chapter. but thought it was needed
