Bondi Rescue (idk the title yet)

panic

AN:sorry for not updating been super busy anyway this chapter is a bit dramatic. involves a panic attack so if u don't like that then skip it ok ;)

In the buggy at north end, me and Reidy had been here for a couple hours now. The weather was moody and it looked like i was going to absolute rain the heavens. it was windy too. Jake had given me his jacket as he was stationed at the tower today with Chappo and Yatesy. a small amount of rescues were achieved mainly surfers who drifted down. I was staring off, watching the water. when i received a txt from an unknown number.
unknown: I'm here you thought you were free because you moved across the world.
what?
C: who is this? stop messing around
unknown: you know who i am.

It can't be , Joe can't have found me. Joe was my mums crackhead boyfriend. He was disgusting, he used to hit me and my mum didn't bat an eye.

Unknown: See you soon ;)

"caitlin?! helloooo?" i snapped my head to Reidy "what's wrong?"
"i uh nothing- nothing." panicking
*uh boys can someone swap with me please* i radioed down
*yh copy heading down caitlin* Jake responded. This can't be happening, he couldn't have found me. The scenarios kept playing through my head.
"sorry Reidy"
"no problem but tell me what's wrong??" I started breathing heavier.
"i got to go." i staggered out the buggy. heading towards the tower, i could see Jake run down the stairs. I couldn't breathe. what if he came here? what if he knew where i lived?
"hey what's up?" Jake asked as we between the tower and buggy.
"nothing i ju- just need a minute."
"caitlin your hyperventilating... breathe." "i cant." I collapsed to my knees. it began to heavily rain.
"hey hey listen to me"
"he's gonna... he's found me. jake jake he's found me." i was panicking and shouting. and just basically embarrassing myself infront of jake.

Jake:
*boys can i get some one down here.*
*copy* Chappo responded.
"just try to breathe ok, who's found you?" she looked so scared. i had to get her up and in the tower. she wasn't focusing and i don't think she was listening to me. i rubbed her back trying to calm her and bring her back down. Chappo came down.
"what the hell is happening?"
"she just collapsed, she's having a panic attack i think."
he knelt down.
"hey caitlin it's chips, just try to focus ok."
"he's- he's here."
"who's here?!" i asked desperately.
"j..joe." and with that she just went . so quickly hit the sand. out cold.
"shit. Chips we need to get her up to the tower help me get her up. i'm going to carry her." he gave me a hand and i carried her bridal style. we got in the tower and i lie her down on the medical bed. Chappo set up the oxygen around her mouth.
"Jake do i need to ring the ambo." Yatesy called.
"no i don't think so, she just got herself worked up in a panic."
he hummed in response. Then Whippet came in for his shift. as reidy was finishing. There were a lot more boys in the tower due to the weather. consisted of me, chips, yatesy, deano, and now whippet. they were watching the water after i explained what happened.
me, Chips and Whip were with caitlin.
"caitlin come on wake up for me, come on." Chappo called. she started to stir. i let out a breathe of relief.

Caitlin's pov:
i heard Chappos voice, and started to open my eyes.
"boys she's waking up." jake called and when i opened my eyes i was crowded by the boys.
"what happened?"
"you were having a panic attack on the sand and you passed out so we bought you up here." Chappo said.
"are you ok?" Jake asked.
"i feel better i guess."
the boys once they knew i was ok, went back to watching the water.
it was just me, jake chips and whip.
"so um who's joe."
"oh, he's my mums boyfriend or was my mums boyfriend. he wasn't very nice and physically assaulted me. blah blah boring whatever."
"whoa that's not whatever, what the hell? why didn't your mum say anything." Whip asked.
"they were both junkies she didn't give a shit." i said frustrated. not at whip but my mum. I went on to show them the messages i received. and they said they were sorry and they'd look out for me. Whippet and Chappo put their numbers in my phone and said if i need anything call.
anyway some time had passed and we were sat in the tower i felt 10x better. and they all promised not to tell Hop about me passing out or anything thank god.

the weather had worsened and me and Chap kept making funny faces and hand dances as the thunder went of it was amusing. we went outside of the tower, and the first struck of lightning chappo went back in.
"i don't like lightning" he laughed "see you later i'm going back in"
"fine wait for me." i giggled and ran back in, and sat next to Jake.
*hey guys since the weather is crap and the beach is empty you can all finish up early*
i smiled *thanks hop* radioed from a couple of us.
