Kalalanding lang ng eroplano nila Leni sa Cebu International Airport. Maraming mga tao at media ang sumalubong sa kanilang pagdating para sa CEBOOM 2.0: Cebu Grand People's Rally na magaganap sa Mandaue few hours from now. Despite this, she made her way into her service van as their journey takes them directly to the location of the event. Even before she entered politics, she had already traveled to Cebu a number of times; however, the place never fails to enchant her no matter how many times she ends up going there.
They decided to go for a Jollibee drive-thru since everyone was already hungry and it was way past 4 pm, para naman maiba dahil lagi na lang silang nag-cchow fan halos araw-araw. Ang mga PAs naman ang bahala sa kung anong gusto nilang kainin at sila na rin mismo ang umorder ng kanilang pagkain. Leni was absolutely fine with anything, but one special individual picked her her favorite jolly hotdog sandwich.
"Thank you..." she cheekily said.
"Alam ko kahapon mo pa hinahanap yan," one of her male campaign members replied.
Tili naman ng tili ang mga babaeng nasa likuran habang pinagmamasdan ang dalawa. April spoke in between food chewing, "Nubayan, pati pagkain sa Jabi by pair! Emz!"
"Ma'am, pakilugar po yung asukal, nilalanggam na ho kami dito," pagalit na kinikilig namang sabat ni Rona.
"Label daw muna po tapos labas-labas sa public pag may time sabi ni Yna," pagbibiro naman ni Apple na siyang nakatanggap ng sapak sa pinagsumbungan.
"Huy, magsitigil nga kayo dyan at bilisan niyo na yang pagkain niyo," Leni reprimanded her team though turning beet red with all their teasing.
"Sabihan mo lang kaming ready na kayo ni Sir Kit mag-out, may draft posts tsaka saved pictures na kami dito Madam. Readyng-ready na po ang pubmat, green light niyo na lang po ang kulang," at hindi pa talaga nagpaawat si April sa panunukso sabay tawa naman silang lahat sa loob ng sasakyan.
Leni almost choked yet she still managed to reply, "Mga baliw."
Kit noticed a ketchup smudge at the corner of her lips at agad naman siyang kumuha ng tissue at pinahiran ito kaagad na dahilan upang sandaling natigilan at nagkatitigan sila ng bise. She simply smiled to express her gratitude as he swiftly removed his hands from her lips the instant that the product had been removed entirely. Her assistants let out yet another round of chuckles and shout after one of his gestures.
"Sige po, ipagpatuloy niyo lang yan dyan, kunyare walang mga taong single and bitter dine sa likuran Ma'am Sir," Cai butted into the conversation.
"Shh, tigil-tigilan mo na kasi ako," mahinang hinampas ni Leni si Kit na panay tawa naman sa pang-aasar ng team ng bise at pinagpatuloy ang pagkain sa sandwich.
Only two months ago, the topic of their blossoming romance was brought to the attention of the general public over suspicious pictures that surfaced online. Not long after they all finished consuming their food ay dumating na sila sa venue. Medyo malayo ito mula sa airport kaya medyo natagalan din ang kanilang biyahe. Bilang nakasanayan ay napakarami ng tao na nasa ground at mas lalo pa silang naghiyawan nang makita ang sasakyan at ang pagdating ng bise. The assistants immediately shielded her from all the crowd as they passed by and proceeded to their tent.
