"I take it that you're doing well?" A man spoke, a deep rusty voice arising as he twirls a shot of blood in his hand, a smirk lingering upon his mouth.

"She hasn't shown any signs," a voice answered through the phone, his tone tending together, gritting his teeth.

"She hasn't? Or that you're not trying," a man argued, sipping his shot cleanly, "let me remind you, we have a clock on us." The man raised his voice,

"You clearly don't understand, I can't just force it onto her," the voice quickly replied, with an irritated attitude.

"Or you've found the wrong girl," the man stood up, shoving his shot glass into another nervous vampire.

"No, I haven't." The voice assured as the man sighed, pinching the tip of his nose.

"We need the key, my war depends on this, don't screw it up, boy," the man grunted, hanging up the phone as he firmly places it on the desk.

"Master, vampires have been spotted dead upon the outside of the area," the vampire quivered in fear, speaking slowly as the man turns to him.

"Oh, they have?" The man calmly asks, chuckling to himself.

The man steps forward and glances down at the vampire, veins forming around his skin, dark red veins.

"I guess we'll have to fix that," the man frowned, pushing the vampire harshly out of the way as he groans to himself, "Mikaelson,"

A loud ringtone vibrated from the phone, her eyes instantly opening at the interruption. Groaning she yanked her phone off the side, stopping the alarm.

Evangelina rubbed her eyes, getting up from her comfy bed. Opening the door wide open, her hand reaches for the bathroom door.

The door bursts open, as Vicki spits out the toothpaste from her mouth, as Evangelina gapes at her in disbelief. "Oh, sorry I was just," Vicki enlarged her eyes, Evangelina opens her mouth with an uncertain expression.

"Take your time, it's fine," Evangelina smiled, as she shut the door gently.

Rapidly stepping down the stairs, Evangelina makes it into the kitchen in her pyjamas. Elena and Jenna both peek at the troubled girl, as she points upstairs.
