Evangelina and Leonardo met back in the bright summertime, a few days after the death of the Gilbert parents, the wicker bridge tragedy. Evangelina had dealt with death before, but happening again felt like it was crushing every inch of her happiness.

Cursed with sadness, the girl always tried to remain filled with happiness, but the world always found a way to hurt her.

Leonardo, the new boy in mystic falls, was greatly attractive as every girl swooned over him, but his eye only laid on one.

The image of the golden sweetheart, the beautiful smile, shiny bright teeth, long curly hair, brown smiley eyes,

But she was looking for something different, answers to her questions, questions about her past and family, that's all she could focus on.

It's the only way she'd cope.

Leonardo didn't know her, not as she did herself, she wanted someone to understand her fully, someone she could lose herself in, someone she could bring her back from the fallen mind she lived in.

The young girl craved something extraordinary, someone, who could show her everything she wanted, a better way of life than she lived, wanting something artistic, musical, dramatic, otherworldly.

She wanted answers to her questions, and she'd do anything to search for them, little did she know she was surrounded by them, but secrets and lies cover up those holes, ripped pieces from a book scattered across the mind.
