Evangelina stirred in her sleep, feeling the warmth of Klaus's body next to hers. As she slowly opened her eyes, she saw Klaus's peaceful expression as he slept soundly beside her.

She smiled to herself, feeling grateful for the moments like these where they could simply be together without any distractions or worries. Klaus had his arm draped over her, holding her tightly, and she nestled her head on his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.

In the soft light of the morning, Evangelina took a moment to appreciate Klaus's handsome features. She traced the line of his jaw with her fingertips, feeling his stubble against her skin. Klaus shifted slightly in his sleep, but he didn't wake up.

she leaned up to press a gentle kiss to Klaus's lips.

He stirred again, and this time he opened his eyes, looking at her with a sleepy smile. "Good morning," he murmured, his voice low and husky.

"Good morning," she replied, feeling her heart swell with affection for him. "I was just watching you sleep."

Klaus chuckled softly, pulling her closer to him. "I could say the same about you," he said, kissing the top of her head.

"You look beautiful in the morning light."

Evangelina smiled at the compliment, feeling a blush rise to her cheeks. "Thank you," she said. "What do you want for breakfast?"

Klaus shrugged. "I'm not picky. Whatever you're in the mood for."

Evangelina got out of bed and stretched again, feeling her body come fully awake. She padded over to the closet and pulled out a comfortable pair of shorts and a t-shirt, slipping them on quickly.

Klaus watched her with amusement as she rummaged through the dresser for a hair tie. "You're so beautiful," he said again, reaching out to touch her arm.

Evangelina leaned in for a quick kiss, feeling his lips press against hers. "Stop distracting me," she said with a smile. "I need to make us breakfast."

Klaus chuckled and let her go, watching as she walked out of the room.

Evangelina hummed to herself as she stood in the massive kitchen, flipping pancakes on the griddle. The scent of butter and maple syrup filled the air, making her stomach growl in anticipation.
