KAIS POV
Amelia had been out for a while. I was sitting at my desk eating some dinner I ordered. I had my laptop open looking at a few lecture notes I had written. I had a lot of exams and assignments this week. I heard the door open and I turned and it was Amelia.
"Hi," I smiled.
"Hi," she beamed, "sorry I didn't think I'd be gone so long."
"It's okay," I said, "how was Charlotte?"
"Good, we finished our assignments for the week," she said and came over to my desk. She sat on my lap and looked at me and I smiled.
"How was your day?" She asked as she played with my hair. She was so adorable. I pecked her lips and she smiled.
"Good," I said.
"I missed you," she said.
"I missed you too," I said.
"What have you been up to?" She said.
"Netflix, and kind of studying," I chuckled.
"Kind of?" Amelia joked and kissed my forehead.
"I've been procrastinating," I chuckled. Amelia wrapped her arms around me and laid her head on my shoulder. I wrapped my arm around her and kissed her forehead.
"You see I was going to ask if you wanted to go star gazing with me later but since your procrastinating," she trailed off.
"No I'll go with you," I said, "I'll do my work."
"Okay," Amelia chuckled and kissed my cheek, "I'll let you work."

I was holding Amelias hand as we were walking to the grass field on campus. Amelia had a blanket in her arm. She put the blanket down and we both laid down next to each other and stared up at the stars. I could hear her breathing softly next to me. Her presence in my life was the best thing that has ever happened to me. I never thought we would get this far together, but here we are, and she's my girlfriend. Amelia moved closer to me and put her head in my chest and draped one of her legs over mine. I was so in love with her. I looked down as her beautiful brown hair sprawled across my chest and kissed her head.
"So Kai," Amelia said quietly as she looked up at me.
"You're supposed to talk during sky gazing?" I joked.
"Shut up," she chuckled.
"What's up?" I said, sensing it was important.
"Are we going to be okay during winter break?" She asked, "we're not going to get to see each other for a whole month before we come back after Christmas and New Years."
"I know that," I said, "and I'll miss you very much, but you do remember that after the break we still are roommates and we'll get to see each other every day again. I promise we'll be fine."
"Okay," Amelia smiled, "I'm going to miss you too."
"What am I going to do without you stealing all my clothes? Stealing all the blanket sat night? Snoring?" I joked.
"You love it," Amelia said.
"I do not love freezing at night, but I do love you, so it's okay," I said.
"I love you too," Amelia said, "so we'll be okay?"
"We'll be okay," I said and kissed her.
"You make everything so easy," Amelia chuckled, "you make all of my fears go away, you ease everything."
"I try," I chuckled. She looked up at me and even in the dark, I could see her piercing beautiful eyes. I stroked her cheek with my thumb and she smiled.
"I love you Kai Bartley," She said, "so much."
"I love you too Amelia Shepherd, so much more," I said softly as we watched the stars above us.
