AMELIAS POV
"You're happy here?" Derek asked me.
"Yeah," I smiled, "I am." Derek and I were sitting outside the dorm talking.
"Kai seems great, you're really happy when you're around them," Derek said.
"Yeah," I smiled, "I really love them."
"I've been worried about you," Derek said.
"Why?" I said as I looked over at him.
"Why?" He chuckled, "Amy are you just going to forget what happened 3 weeks ago?"
"I like it that way," I said.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah," I nodded, "I was scared that what happened would come between Kai and I. I was really paranoid for a while that me being difficult would break us, but Kai stayed. Kai loves me. They're different. They assured me every day that they loved me even if I didn't ask for it."
"I'm glad you found Kai," Derek said, "you deserve someone good."
"Thanks," I smiled, "and by the way Kai is totally a Meredith Grey fan, I had to take the hit at your ego."
"Shut up," Derek chuckled.
"Have you spoken to mom?" I asked.
"A little bit, but basic stuff, nothing about what happened," Derek said, "I'm not letting her near you again."
"Thanks," I said, "how long are you staying?"
"The weekend, we'll be here tomorrow and fly out Monday morning," Derek said. I smiled and hugged him.
"Thank you for being the best," I said.
"Anything for you Amy," Derek said.

I unlocked the door to my dorm and Kai was laying in my bed on their phone.
"Invite yourself into my bed why don't you?" I joked.
"Sorry, I was waiting for you," Kai said. I changed quickly and crawled into bed with them.
"Meredith and Derek liked you," I smiled as I played with their hair.
"Yeah," Kai smiled.
"Yeah," I nodded, "they did."
"I get the sibling approval?" Kai joked.
"You do," I smiled, "you're perfect."
"So are you," Kai said, "I love everything about you."
"I love everything about you too," I smiled and kissed them passionately. They pulled me into their lap and I straddled their waist as they kissed me.
"Is someone horny?" I joked as their hands were on my thighs.
"Uh," Kai chuckled as their face turned red. I laughed as I kissed their neck and then their forehead.
"It's okay I am too," I chuckled and Kai smirked.
"Our neighbors must hate us by now," Kai said.
"It's okay," I laughed.

I was laying next to Kai. It was quiet. I rolled onto my side and looked at them.
"Hi," I said.
"Hi," they smiled and put their arm around me. I wrapped my arms around them and we laid there together.
"I love you," I said.
"I love you too," Kai said and kissed my head.
"I'm glad Derek and Meredith like you," I smiled.
"Me too," Kai chuckled.
"We're you nervous?" I joked.
"No," Kai said.
"Liar," I said, "you definitely were nervous to see Meredith Grey."
"Will you let that go," Kai chuckled.
"It's cute that you're a fan," I chuckled.
"Enough," Kai chuckled, "I just still can't believe you didn't tell me."
"I was supposed to tell you?" I laughed, "how was I supposed to just drop hey Meredith Grey is my sister in law into conversation."
"I don't know," Kai chuckled.
"Your Meredith Grey fantasies have been satisfied," I joked and Kai nudged me.
"You're annoying," Kai said.
"I am not," I said.
"Mhm," Kai said, "what time do they want us up tomorrow?"
"9," I said.
"Okay," Kai said. I smiled as I snuggled into them.
"Good night," I said softly.
"Good night," Kai said.

KAIS POV
"Amelia," I said softly and kissed her cheek.
"Five more minutes," Amelia complained.
"You said that five minutes ago sweetheart," I said.
"Sweetheart?" Amelia said and looked at me.
"Do you not like it?" I said.
"I do. It's cute," Amelia smiled, "but I still want five more minutes."
"Come on get up sleepy," I said and started attacking her with kisses.
"Okay okay," Amelia chuckled. We both got out of bed and got ready for the day. I don't know exactly what we're doing but Amelia was excited to see her family again. It was so cute. She was adorable. Amelia came out of the bathroom and yawned.
"Tired?" I joked.
"Shut up," she chuckled, "we were a little busy last night."
"I know that," I said and wrapped my arms around her waist. She leaned back into me and I smiled. She was my everything.
