KAIS POV
Break was over. I was coming back to campus today. God I was excited to see Amelia. She hasn't left my mind all break. I hope she's okay. I got off my plane and practically ran to the Uber. Her flight got in last night so she was already here. I got back to campus and walked to the building and got in the elevator. I got to the door and unlocked it and sure enough she was sitting at her desk. She grinned at me as I smiled.
"I love you," I said as I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her head.
"I love you too," She smiled. I pulled away and kissed her passionately.
"I miss you so much," Amelia said.
"I missed you more," I said and wrapped my arms around her, "oh I'm so glad you're back here. I'm so glad I can see you. How have you been?"
"I mean I've been better," she chuckled, "but break wasn't too bad."

It was late and Amelia and I were getting ready to go to bed. It was so nice to finally be back with her. Have her to sleep next to. Kiss her. Hug her. God it felt so good. Amelia took her shirt off to change into pajamas and I froze. She had a series of black and blues on her back.
"Amelia," I said calmly. She turned around and there was more. She saw me starting and she immediately grabbed a shirt and ran into the bathroom.
"Amelia, no stop I'm sorry, I didn't mean to stare," I said. I could hear her crying.
"Amelia open the door please," I said, "we can talk about it."
"Or we don't have to we can act like I didn't see anything and go to bed," I said. I heard the door unlock and I walked in and wrapped my arms around her. I sat down next to her on the floor and she sobbed.
"It's okay," I said softly, "it's okay I've got you."
"I'm sorry," Amelia cried, "I'm sorry about everything."
"Don't apologize. None of this is your fault," I said, "you didn't do anything deserve this."
"Are the bruises really bad?" She asked.
"There's 3, maybe 4, they're small," I said.
"Okay," she nodded.
"Are you okay?" I asked her.
"I'm fine," she said, "I just fell down the stairs the other day and tripped." I looked at her and I knew she was lying.
"Amelia," I said sadly.
"Can we please go to bed?" She pleaded.
"Yeah," I nodded. We walked back into the bedroom and Amelia climbed in her bed. I didn't know if she wanted me to follow. I figured maybe she wanted to be alone.
"Come join," she said softly as she wrapped her arms around her pillow. I laid down next to her and could hear her crying. I wrapped my arms around her and held her until she fell asleep.

AMELIAS POV
I opened my eyes and Kai was gone. Shit. I started panicking. It was Sunday. We didn't have class. I looked over at the bathroom door and it was open. Did they leave? I was freaking out. I grabbed my phone and I had a text from Kai.

Went to the dining hall to grab some coffee. Be back in a few minutes. <3

I left out a sigh of relief. They were coming back. Soon enough the door opened and Kai was holding two cups of coffee.
"Hey," Kai said.
"Hi," I said.
"You okay? You looked stressed," Kai said.
"Yeah it's nothing," I said.
"Can I ask you a question?" Kai said.
"Sure," I nodded as they handed me a cup of coffee and we sat down.
"Do you talk to anyone? About what happened?" They asked.
"Like a therapist?" I asked.
"Yeah, or even like your brother, or Charlotte. I mean I get the feeling you don't want to tell me about it, which is fine, but obviously something happened, something more than just being slapped, and I think it would be best for you to talk about it. It doesn't have to be to me, but I'm just concerned," I said.
"Derek knows what happened," she said quietly, "I want to tell you too, but, it's a lot. I don't want to scare you away."
"You're not going to I promise," I said, "I'm not going anywhere."
"If I tell you it has to stay between us okay?" She said.
"Absolutely," I nodded.
"Okay," she said, "then I'll tell you."
