ISABELLEJANUARY 12th, 2018
"Izzy!" He slaps my door with his hand, "Hurry up!" He has no patience.
Look who's speaking.
"Give me a second, Marc!" I yell back, eyes focusing on the mirror, putting on my earrings. "You said that last time!"
I snort at his words, putting him out his misery and leaving my room. "Happy?"
Marc squeals, clapping his hands. "You look stunning!" I blush, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear and mumble, "Thank you."
"You're such a cutie." He teases, pinching my cheeks. Slapping his hands away, I grab my clutch and follow him down the stairs.
"Where's Kane?" I glance at my phone, frowning when I see no text. I kinda expected him to be here by the time I was downstairs.
"I don't know," Marc mumbles, head in my fridge, "He'll be here soon."
"Yeah." I mutter, smoothing out my dress. Does this even look nice. Maybe I put on too of a tight dress. Too late to change?
"Did Tom say he was joining?" Marc's head snaps up at my question, an attempt to distract me from my insecurities, a inward look on his face.
"Uh," He looks down at his phone, shaking his head when, I assume, seeing no reply, "No he hasn't replied."
Frowning, he reluctantly nods to himself and looks away; hopping onto the island. Thankfully, the 'intervention' we arranged went well. Well, to an extent.
Tom assured Marc he wasn't cheating- to all our relief, and had some apologised for not telling Marcus about meeting Jamie. Marcus didn't really tell me why Thomas met Jamie, but apparently it was a good enough reason. So, they made up and apologised to each other. Marcus, according to him, soaked up all the attention and apologises.
As he should.
But by 'extent' i mean, there is still some uncertainty and unfinished business needed to be worked out between them.
"Maybe he's on his way?" I hate how unsure I sound. Marcus just waves my words off, rolling his eyes and drinking a chocolate milk. "Nah," He wipes his mouth with the back of his hand, "He's in Manchester, has been for three days or summat, but he said he'd make it today," Marcus tuts at this words, sarcastically smiling, "Apparently not."
"Cunt." That earns a real smile from Marcus, making me laugh when he repeats it. "Indeed a cunt. Cunt indeed."
"Oh shut up," I chortle, "Fucking wanker." Marcus sticks his tongue out, chocolate milk dripping down his chin in the process. He yelps, glaring when I laugh. "Fuck you, Iz!"
"You don't swing that way, Marc!" I yell at his retreating form, "Or else I would."
"I knew you wanted a piece of me, Izzy!" He sings from the bathroom, the sound of water flowing nearly drowning out his words.
The door slams open, slamming shut seconds later. I roll my eyes knowing it's Kane. Hearing his loud, heavy, footsteps behind me makes my heartbeat run wild.
Composure.
Mentally calming myself down, I turn around and nearly clench my eyes shut. Why! Why the fuck is he so hot.
Oh. I did close my eyes. Oops.
Peeking an eye open, my other eye following after, I take my time in scanning his outfit. In other words-checking him out.
